This is a great wine shop in Wola.
It's located in a small passage inside the building of plocka 17.
There is no big advertising or signs so you need to know where it is.
The variety goes from overseas wines from chile, South Africa up to European classics like Portuguese, French, Italian Spanish and German wines. Even a variety of polish wines are offered. I never tried them but as the were served to Obama & co at the NATO summit it shouldn't be too bad.
In total there are around 220 wines, interesting aged ciders and whiskeys. Furthermore there are very good olives, olive oil and other Mediterranean treats.
The variety of wines is very good and covers the whole price range from around 20 zl to around 100 or more. It is not the most elaborated wine shop with crazy expensive stuff but honestly who needs that.
The price value ratio is definitely given, the prices are surprisingly cheap for a good quality which is not always the case in Poland.
I recommend to bring some time and talk to the owner who has a good taste and can give you a good overview or recommendations for wines.
Every Friday evening he is offering a small degustation with some wines, olives, bread and olive oil. Very nice atmosphere to talk about wines and get set with Drinks for the weekend.
