My husband took me here for my birthday back in March as a surprise and I return I took him here back in May as well. Both groups of friends including ourselves were very surprised how well the rooms were done for being inside a mall; very immersive. We have done close to 100 escape rooms and this is one of our favorite locations, only have two rooms left to complete. Our favorite so far was Hidden Temple (thinks 90s). The only thing I would recommend, is if you're an experienced gamer let your game master know otherwise they tend to give too many clues too fast. We had fun here! We tried out the hardest room-Contamination? It was tricky but fun, there was a ton to do in the room which I like. We had a group of 5 and we all had a job the whole time. I think it gives you clues every few minutes but this wasn't clear to us so I believe we missed a few. I have been to quite a few escape rooms and I enjoy when the host of the room lets you know at the end what you missed or where you went wrong, etc - kind of gives you an inside scoop but we didn't receive that here so it was a bit disappointing. My partner and I did the Blast From the Past theme game tonight, and it was a total, well, BLAST. There was a LOT to do in this game, tons of puzzles and things to do. It kept us immersed and engaged the entire time. I really loved the little jokes and bits of humor you could find throughout the game. Tying in the old school arcade games was super cool, too. This was certainly challenging, I don't know if I would recommend it for beginners, but even if you don't win, you'll appreciate the props, atmosphere, and aesthetics! I really wish we could remember the name of our game master, but she was awesome- super energetic and very prompt with clues when we needed them. I loved my escape room experience here! I was with 3 other people and we did the Museum Heist. It was challenging but not too difficult to complete. It is great for a group of 4 as well because it is non-linear, so people can be doing different tasks at the same time. I enjoy escape rooms and the challenges in the puzzles, but the room(s) have to be a little intuitive and not just off the wall ideas. The Hidden Temple room was so dark as to be difficult to see what was in the room. The clues were so obscure that it was a constant challenge to figure out the next steps. My advice is to use every clue you get if you don't figure out the next step within a few minutes. I personally feel there are too many rooms in the challenge and I do understand why the completion rates are so low. read more

There are many reasons why I rated this place five stars.. I've been to an escape room and it was a fun experience so I was anticipating this one to be just as fun, but it certainly exceeded my expectations. FYI - our group did the "containment" scenario. You have to enter through the mall to find this place. It was easy for me to locate it, maybe because I am familiar with the mall but I also did call just to verify. The person I spoke with was very friendly and energetic so, so far it's been pretty good (I'm big on customer service). When my husband and I got there, we were greeted by the person behind the counter. This place was nicely set up, there are stools you can sit on and tables with items that can get your brain started (rubix cube, chain links, etc.). Right away I noticed the screen that showed teams who have completed the rooms and their escape time. There's an iPad on the counter where you can self-serve and sign your waiver. Albeit minor, I was still impressed because the first escape room I went to didn't even have a waiting area. Now to the good part...the person who worked there took us to the room where we needed to start. She explained some rules and how the game is played. She then turned our attention to a tv in the room and was even more impressed! They are able to communicate with us through there. The time is displayed there, clues, time remaining and how many clues we have used (you get three freebies). At first I thought the space was SUPER small but turns out there was a way to get to the other side. In total there were three rooms with different chambers within. The set up was nice. The riddles got us thinking and definitely made us work. They weren't too tough but hard enough to challenge you. There were six of us and we came so close to figuring out but ran out of time unfortunately. I HIGHLY recommend this place. It was a lot of fun!! I actually took my husband and a friend for their birthdays and we are now planning our next escape room which will probably be here, but Bombsquad this time. Definitely thumbs up! read more

Very cool thing to do with a group of friends. But I was there for a work team building event which was fun but definitely will do with friends next time. When we got there we were given the option of which scenario each team wanted to challenge. Once you enter the room you watch a video that explains the rules and the story of your scenario. Then the countdown begins and you have to find the clues in the room which will lead you to your next set of challenges. As you go from challenge and room to room you have to work together as a team to complete the tasks. So it will force you to work together. But it was fun though out the whole time. And lastly this was not easy...I was expecting it to be corney and easy clues. Boy I was Wrong! That stuff was hard. So bring your A GAME if you are competing with another team. Enjoy.... read more

It was extremely well themed, exhilarating without being scary, and had solid puzzles. After tons and tons of rooms it's hard for me to feel impressed, but this one blew me away in many ways. There's a lot to do though so I recommend extra hands on deck! Alyssa also provided two wonderful timely hints that nudged us in the direction when we requested them! I think their website info claiming you'll see something "totally new" is just like every other escape room I've seen advertise that - it's not. But it's a dang good escape room with all the usual escape stuff, and solid puzzles with a believable theme. read more

I forgot I made a reservation so I had to cancel it. I thought it'd be difficult, but when I called, Josh helped me out and made everything really easy. Josh was really nice in helping me with the cancellation and helping me figure out when to reschedule in a manner that was easy for me, and it's because of people like Josh that this destination is not one of the best but THE best in escape rooms. Believe me, I'm an escape room fanatic. This was such a fun experience. A bit pricy, but worth it if you don't do it that often. We had 8 people and at times it felt a little cramped. I think 6 people would be perfect. And you pay person so it really doesn't matter how many you have. We almost made it out; needed about 2 more minutes. Wish we would have pressed the clue button after we got each door open to lead us in the right direction of what we needed to try and figure out for each room. I. Love. Escape. Rooms. I find them really exciting and when well done, very challenging. We did the Hidden Temple Room, which if you are like me and loved Legends of the Hidden Temple you too will enjoy. I obviously will not spoil the room... or rooms (who knows!) for you, but we found it quite challenging. We ALMOST got out. WE WERE SO CLOSE! It really was a lot of fun, and I highly suggest giving this room or probably any of them a try. read more

This is an awesome place! I highly recommend it. We did four rooms here and we enjoyed all of them! I have 40+ rooms experience and this place is my favorite. All four rooms I did here would probably make to my top 8. Production quality is phenomenal. They put a lot of efforts into room design and small details that it really added to my overall experience. Puzzles are pretty unique. Some require out of box thinking. Very different from the traditional rooms we have done in the past. We did the following rooms: 1) Mystery Manor. Supposedly the easiest according to their website. But we actually found it pretty challenging...in a fun way! 2) Blast to the past. My personal favorite! We did really well in this room and we all think some of the puzzles are pretty cool. 3) Hidden Temple. The second hardest... according to them. This was the first room we did here and we failed in this room. But we all loved the whole atmosphere! 4) Containment. Supposedly the hardest room. But we didn't think it was that challenging. Maybe we were used to their puzzle design philosophy at that time? We still asked two clues because we had the difficulty expectation and we were anxious about not completing it. Overall I was super impressed with everything here. Not a single puzzle made me feel like a flaw. read more

Went here for a work "team building" event and when I heard about it, I didn't really get why it would be team-building but it really is. They have 3 rooms with 3 different experiences. We had 22 people and it worked perfectly for our group. The challenges are definitely difficult and absolutely require a team effort. It helps if there is one point person to kind of keep people on track. There are some clues you get and you can ask for help 3 times.... the catch? Every one of your teams members must agree to get help. They are watching you so they can trigger things and send the help clue when needed so that always feels a bit odd cause you know you probably look so ridiculous! The people there are super friendly and get you in the mood to play. Recommend wearing sneakers or flat shoes cause you will be on your feet for 60 minutes. I would definitely recommend this for team building exercises! It wasn't hard to get to - go to main entrance J in the mall (to the left of the movie theater) and take a left and then it's on your left. read more

I have played all of 60 to Escape's rooms (Containment, Bomb Room, Museum, Blast from the Past, Mystery Manor), and I've loved every single one. They are challenging, but fun, and the game masters always know when to chime in to make sure the team keeps moving and enjoying themselves. What really sets 60 to Escape's rooms apart, in my opinion, are the effects and production value. My family played Mystery Manor this weekend, and OMG, it was SO WELL DONE. The effects were very cool and so immersive that it actually felt like you were in a spooky mansion. I'm so happy to see 60 to Escape expanding, and I hope they have continued success so I can keep playing their rooms. A+ read more
