STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! I'm writing to strongly advise against hiring this company for any home improvement projects. My experience has been nothing short of unacceptable, and I am now dealing with significant damages as a result of their negligence. I hired them for a luxury vinyl tile (LVT) flooring and carpet project, which cost me nearly $5,000. Not only was the workmanship subpar, but the carelessness of the contractor, caused additional damage to my home. After he moved my stove to install flooring underneath, it stopped working the very next day. Additionally, he improperly reinstalled my toilet, leaving it unstable and with excess caulk visibly running from the base. In addition, I paid for my previous flooring to be removed but some was left and cover by my new flooring. The carpet installation team also left exposed cable wires, creating a serious safety hazard for both my family and pets. I immediately reported these issues and provided photo documentation. While the company did send the contractor and carpet crew back to address the toilet and wiring, the promised follow-up--an electrician or low-voltage technician to assess the stove--never happened. Since then, all communication has ceased. As a result, I'm now forced to replace my stove out of pocket and involve legal counsel to pursue resolution. This entire situation has turned what should have been a simple flooring upgrade into a costly and exhausting ordeal. Not to mention my signatures were forged on the Certificate of Completion contract. My advice: Avoid this company. If you decide to proceed, be prepared to supervise every move, ask constant questions, and document everything. Do not assume they will act in your best interest--they have shown me they are more concerned with profit than professionalism or accountability.

Seems like the only way to get "Customer Service" to get back to you is to leave a bad review. So here it is... We had these floors installed a year ago and the trim around doors is already coming up and exposing sharp nails at the door threshold. It's been incredibly difficult getting in touch with anyone to help repair using our "lifetime warranty". Hoping this motivates someone to actually email/call us back. Keith 678-462-4556

Trim comes in 15 ft yet they piece meal trim all around the base. No staining on some of the trim.

The way 50 flooring treats it's customers is pretty poor. The workmanship is subpar and the co. Will not honor their own warranty. The issue I have with customer service is that they really don't care if you are satisfied with the job once they get paid. No one has contacted me to repair the many problems that were brought to their attention. Every time I walk on my squeaking steps I'm reminded of what a rip off 50 flooring is. I'm now convinced the only option now is to take 50 flooring to small claims court to get my repairs done properly.

Damaged speaker cabinet

Damaged multiple items of furniture in the house. It took over one month for them to complete a job that was supposed to take only two or three days. Employees removed plug-in and set it on top of furniture, plug-in leaked and destroyed the finish. There was no need to remove the plug-in at all. Damaged a pair of expensive speakers when moving them. They do not take care when moving the furniture. Took them over one month to complete the job. Had one crew come to the house look in the wrong room and left without starting any of the job. Impossible to communicate with workers sent to house as no one spoke in English. Crew left without installing mouldings and then left mouldings unsecured. They also damaged a surround receiver. They are more interested in giving lip service about their quality and how bad they feel about damaging items in your home. Honesty, they don't feel all that responsible given that I have not even heard back from them regarding the damaged speakers which were pristine before they were touched by the 50 floor employees. They are not returning calls. My contact at 50 floor, Dana, has stopped returning my calls. It is obvious they do not want to compensate me completely for all the damage they've done. If you want your items undamaged and have a good flooring job done, look elsewhere for your flooring needs. Look at all of 50 floors reviews you'll see that most of them are one star. There is a reason for that. Holly will come on and post a response give you lip service about how sorry they are, but they truly don't care. Edited after Holly's canned phone response. Blah Blah Blah, Holly. So explain why, if you take things seriously, why did DANA ghost me? 5 calls, over weeks to him. I left messages every time, no response. No wonder the bulk of reviews for 50Floor are 1 star. It's not just me. And after all the negative feedback that you get from other unhappy customers, you conduct business as usual. You haven't changing anything in how you conduct your business and continue to accumulate unhappy customers.

I was especially blown away by the install guy. This is a family operation; you can tell they are building it to hand down to the next generation. We have been burned in the past and put this job off because of those negative experiences. We were nervous starting this job because it involved removing the heated tile floor from around our custom cabinets and surrounding marble surfaces. Much to our delight, they removed our old flooring without damaging anything else. They respected the other spaces in our home and treated our property as if it were theirs. A few months after the installation, the new heated floor stopped working due to a faulty controller (it happens). They wanted to come out that day and fix it. It was as if they were still trying to earn our business after they had already cashed our check. This is the way it should be. The tile work is flawless, and the heated floor is much more consistent than our old one. You can find someone cheaper, but you get what you pay for. Giovanni completed our tile job a little over a year ago. We waited a year to ensure we had no problems before leaving a review.
