I have used 50floor for 3 projects over the last 4 years. The floors and carpet were put in fine no complaints. The first set of carpet loosened up after 6 months and I couldn't get the company to correct. We replaced that carpet earlier this year and it has been great even though I had to pay for another thing of carpet. This last project was good, floors in upstairs hallway looks great. They messed up the carpet at the top of steps but it was fixed. Here's my issue, if it wasn't for my sales person Amy nothing would have been fixed. I tried over several days to get someone and NOTHING! I reached out to Amy and she jumped on it. The person that I spoke with on the phone to confirm the appointment was not the nicest and very bothered with me. Did the company change ownership over the last 4 years??? 2/2/26 - My third and final update on this company. Don't do business with them. Their salespeople are dishonest and WILL tell you one thing while doing the complete opposite. I had a conversation with their salesman and an agreement was reached to remove certain areas to ensure the floors were within my budget. I was ASSURED they would be only to find AFTER the work was done this was not the case. I requested this company abide by the word their salesman gave me and they've refused. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! I'm writing to strongly advise against hiring this company for any home improvement projects. My experience has been nothing short of unacceptable, and I am now dealing with significant damages as a result of their negligence. I hired them for a luxury vinyl tile (LVT) flooring and carpet project, which cost me nearly $5,000. Not only was the workmanship subpar, but the carelessness of the contractor, caused additional damage to my home. After he moved my stove to install flooring underneath, it stopped working the very next day. Additionally, he improperly reinstalled my toilet, leaving it unstable and with excess caulk visibly running from the base. In addition, I paid for my previous flooring to be removed but some was left and cover by my new flooring. The carpet installation team also left exposed cable wires, creating a serious safety hazard for both my family and pets. I immediately reported these issues and provided photo documentation. While the company did send the contractor and carpet crew back to address the toilet and wiring, the promised follow-up--an electrician or low-voltage technician to assess the stove--never happened. Since then, all communication has ceased. As a result, I'm now forced to replace my stove out of pocket and involve legal counsel to pursue resolution. This entire situation has turned what should have been a simple flooring upgrade into a costly and exhausting ordeal. Not to mention my signatures were forged on the Certificate of Completion contract. My advice: Avoid this company. If you decide to proceed, be prepared to supervise every move, ask constant questions, and document everything. 50Floor is absolutely horrible. Installation was done by people who had no respect for our home. Left pee on our toilet seat, along with trash. Transitions were lifted and not cut properly. When asked to come correct this they didnt have the material. Sale rep quoted us a rate per month with a certain financing company, now it is lookkng like that that rate was a lie to get us to accept the terms. I've been trying to contact this company for a resolution for a month. Do NOT waste your time with this company. read more

$15,000 for 1700 sqft. By far more expensive than Empire and I've had such a horrible experience that I'm shaking I'm so livid. The sales guy gave me the same spiel he gave when he gave me a quote at another house. He's one of the owners, shouldnt even be doing sales calls but they're sooo busy. A seam appeared in the middle of my living room over the first week. It took forever to finally get them out to look at it. The woman on the phone told us we must have done something to it. They came out and said it was a manufacturer defect. A week goes by without hearing from them. Call and call, only to be told we have to file a claim with the manufacturer to see if we did it or if it was in fact defective before anything could be done. $15,000 and three weeks later I still have a large run in my living room and finishing nails sticking out in my thresholds. The Customer Experience was Great during installation but after that it's been aweful. I've used this company several times. They installed flooring for me in my Kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms. It's absolutely difficult to get a hold of someone when the product they installed keeps malfunctioning. Finally I paid 50 Floor a service fee to have someone come out to my house and all they did was take pictures and said some would call me. What sense does that make? Keep in mind the company had me to send pictures of the floor in bathroom prior to this guy coming out. Let me say he pulled his tools out verified the floor isn't wet, which it wasn't. The planks on flooring keeps shifting. He had to intention on fixing my floor. He was not equipped, nor helpful regarding my floor! I'm done!!!!! BUYER BEWARE. This was one of the worst sales experiences I've encountered. Lionel the sales representative who came to our home was excellent, professional, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with. Unfortunately, the VP of Sales, Louie, completely ruined the experience. We called to negotiated a new price. Dropping a $3,000 discount only if I agreed within 30 minutes. That's not negotiation, that's pressure and manipulation. This is unacceptable for any company claiming to value customers. If leadership doesn't address this, it speaks volumes about their priorities. The way 50 flooring treats it's customers is pretty poor. The workmanship is subpar and the co. Will not honor their own warranty. The issue I have with customer service is that they really don't care if you are satisfied with the job once they get paid. No one has contacted me to repair the many problems that were brought to their attention. Every time I walk on my squeaking steps I'm reminded of what a rip off 50 flooring is. I'm now convinced the only option now is to take 50 flooring to small claims court to get my repairs done properly. read more

After our water heater sprung a leak and flooded our entire house, our bamboo flooring was warped beyond salvage. We started making calls to different companies and came across one that was heavily advertised. Skeptical, we obtained several quotes. A company called "50 FLOOR" was our second appointment. The day before our scheduled meeting, SCOTT STEVENS called to inform us that all their sales representatives were swamped and would need to reschedule unless we were okay with SCOTT coming out instead. We accepted his offer, and to make a long story short, we chose "50 FLOOR" over the other quotes we received. One of their advertising claims is same-day installation. Given our project involved a living room, kitchen, dining area, three bedrooms, two bathrooms, four closets, and a laundry room, we were surprised they could deliver on that. To our delight, SCOTT arranged for a crew of four highly skilled workers who completed the job on time as promised. One detail that pleasantly surprised me was their attention to detail. Instead of installing flooring around the toilets and simply caulking the gaps, they removed the toilets, laid the flooring, and then reinstalled the toilets. I don't typically recommend companies, but I have to make an exception in this case. I highly recommend "50 FLOOR," its sales team, and its installation crew. From quote to completion, SCOTT was key to the success of this entire project. I wholeheartedly endorse this flooring company and its entire team. I would not recommend 50floor... My installation (which was roughly 5 years ago) was actually done well. My entire main level (roughly 1,400sqft) was done and there were no complaints day 1 after install, but with a family of 3 (2 adults and a toddler) and minimal traffic, I would expect the condition of the floor to be decent after five years. Especially considering I spent over $10,000. My expectations were wrong, and the condition of the floors are now embarrassing with issues with seams in multiple areas. No problem though, because 50floor provides lifetime warranty. Oh never mind, I apparently had my floors done before they provided lifetime warranties. Okay, not great, but I'll actually pay to have the floors repaired because they look so bad... 50Floor sends a rep to come check my floors out and charges me a consultation fee. That was over a month ago. Guess that was just to make sure I dont push for a warranty claim because after the rep saw the floors and agreed repairs were needed, I have not been able to speak to a 50floor rep again. Now when I call, I speak to someone offshore and for some reason they cannot get in touch with 50floor customer service. Did I mentioned I been following up with 50floors multiple times a week for over a month. I will obviously find someone else to do the repairs but just disappointed in the poor customer services. ***Sidenote: Just for fun, I called to schedule a consultation on another property that I have and turns out, they could get someone out to that property in 2 days... I requested a quote from 50 Floor and Steven Mitchell arrived to provide the quote. He went on about the history of the company, fake online reviews, etc. I was hoping he would atleast take some measurements and provide a quote in a timely manner but he did not take any measurements as I observed him and instead was doing some etch-a-sketch drawings on his paper as if it was 1990. The technology with this company is so far behind its competitors. Then he presented the quote which was 3x the price of the competitor's! The quote provided does not even show Square Feet, Unit Price, Itemized Fees, etc. It is a completely made up number. From there, I said I didn't want to waste anyone's time and will not be moving forward and then his mask started falling off. He got really rude about not selling me their overpriced carpet and then stormed off! So glad I dodged a bullet. Avoid doing business with 50 Floor! read more

Damaged multiple items of furniture in the house. It took over one month for them to complete a job that was supposed to take only two or three days. Employees removed plug-in and set it on top of furniture, plug-in leaked and destroyed the finish. There was no need to remove the plug-in at all. Damaged a pair of expensive speakers when moving them. They do not take care when moving the furniture. Took them over one month to complete the job. Had one crew come to the house look in the wrong room and left without starting any of the job. Impossible to communicate with workers sent to house as no one spoke in English. Crew left without installing mouldings and then left mouldings unsecured. They also damaged a surround receiver. They are more interested in giving lip service about their quality and how bad they feel about damaging items in your home. Honesty, they don't feel all that responsible given that I have not even heard back from them regarding the damaged speakers which were pristine before they were touched by the 50 floor employees. They are not returning calls. My contact at 50 floor, Dana, has stopped returning my calls. It is obvious they do not want to compensate me completely for all the damage they've done. If you want your items undamaged and have a good flooring job done, look elsewhere for your flooring needs. Look at all of 50 floors reviews you'll see that most of them are one star. There is a reason for that. Holly will come on and post a response give you lip service about how sorry they are, but they truly don't care. Edited after Holly's canned phone response. Blah Blah Blah, Holly. So explain why, if you take things seriously, why did DANA ghost me? 5 calls, over weeks to him. I left messages every time, no response. No wonder the bulk of reviews for 50Floor are 1 star. It's not just me. And after all the negative feedback that you get from other unhappy customers, you conduct business as usual. I had my carpets in all 3 bedrooms in my house 3 weeks ago installed..and don't get me wrong I love the carpet however I was a little confused about the quotes that were given I guess I didn't read the contract correctly but they don't install baseboards or even mention anything during the consultation? We had a computer desk get moved & put back together but it fell apart so that wasn't a big issue.. I'm just wondering why 50 Floor doesn't check on how you like the new installation or anything? This is by far the worst experience, I've had with a company that claims to be of high caliber. First, the installers were extremely unprofessional. They must be paid by the hour because I caught them watching youtube videos and relaxing on the job multiple times. I had to stop what I was doing and go sit and watch them to ensure they would work. It took 3.5 hours to install carpet in one 19x17 room, absolutely ridiculous! The sales representative Thomas McCrary is the reason for the star. He provided professional assistance and was informative. However, the 50% discount that is currently being advertised is a lie! had 50 floor install carpet on 2nd story, downstairs bedroom and hallway. on installation day everything was great. Then, after 1 month the carpet in our bedroom was in rough shape. Pulls, stains and bare spots. I have been trying to get it fixed for 6 months. We have had multiple no shows, gone through two customer service reps and still have crappy carpet. Even better, they came and cut a 2 foot by 2 foot piece out of it so we have crappy carpet and a hole. Their "Gold Star Warranty" is terrible. Do not use 50 floor! read more

Don't use 50 Floor. Poor follow up for customer complaints and installation!! My baseboards R badly scratched up and cord around was coming loose! Finally after seeing Dana at the 2025 Home Show at Cobb Galleria did I get any feedback. 50 Floor says they give a lifetime warranty but it's only for 30 days!! Wells Fargo the financing option is unscrupulous as reviews on Fargo constantly states on their practices. Wells Fargo monthly statements don't give special financing end date. U as the buyer must keep up with the date. Result: interest on the special financing is socked on U adding approximately $2000 more to the final cost. Last, Read the fine print of the contract on what 50 Floor "Will NOT DO or COVER"!! Buyer be Aware!! Dana has ghosted me so I'm unable to leave phone messages. Spoke with Calvin since Dana has ghosted me but Calvin's follow up is no better!! Perhaps my review will prevent other buyers remorse. To Dana's credit he did send a contractor out after my Home Show encounter with him to fix the loose cord around. I purchased $8457.00 in flooring. My kitchen floor is cracking in multiple places. 50 floor took over 7 months to file a claim blaming the manufacturer for poor quality flooring. However, the manufacturer blamed 50 floor stating it was due to improper installation. I have the letter from the manufacturer. It should not be cracking after a little over a year. It is very unethical and dishonorable to do customers this way. Even The guy who worked for 50 floor who came out to do an assessment stated it was probably poor installation. The managers will not return calls or seek to resolve the issue. They subcontracted the work and the individuals could not communicate with me in English. Very frustrating to have such poor workmanship and poor quality of flooring! I have never experienced this in my life! Buyers Beware!!! I would avoid this company at all cost!!! It's been nothing but a Headache!!!! They will not repair my floor unless I pay them $747.00 more dollars for labor for a problem they caused! So, I went with 50Floor for my new flooring in my kitchen/family room. It took one evening, the floors look awesome. The installers were very skilled and knowledgeable. I did not get a receipt promptly and I found a tiny corner crack on one of the planks. So i called and after a few calls got an employee named Rashad. Rashad sent my paid in full receipt, scheduled a installer to correct the small issue and apologized for my worries. He saved the day. Now, I will have 50Floor install in my basement because I see that I can trust the work, the company and employees such as Rashad who saved the day. Thank you again Rashad. read more

Dear Sir or Madam, On February 7, 2019, we purchased 50 floors for our home at 4900 Winterview Ln, Douglasville, GA 30135. Upon inspection of the floors with the installation supervisor, we questioned the supervisor about the transition between the kitchen/living room and the kitchen/dining room which should be seamless as with other areas between two rooms but the transition was high and require a transition stripand strips between the kitchen/living room and the kitchen/dining room. We were told by the "installation supervisor" that the subfloor to our kitchen, possibly, when the house was built, was raised and they did the best transition possible given how our kitchen subfloor was built. On May 31 2023, we had a leak in our kitchen sink that resulted in damage to the flooring around the sink. When the Water Mitigation took up some of the flooring around the sink to look for additional damage, we were shocked to see that the new flooring you installed was not installed properly. The laminate wood was installed over two layers of linoleum tile not the subfloor. We were applauded at the shoddy installation and deceitfulness of your installation team in not improperly installing our floors and want the floor reinstalled properly at no cost. We called 50 flooring to file a complaint. We were told that they would not reinstall the floor at no cost because we only had a one year warranty on installation. Also we were informed that the type of laminate flooring in our home was discontinued. This is a huge problem because not only was the particular type of floor installed in the kitchen but also in the living room, dining room, hall, laundry room, closets and bedroom in an open concept living area. Because of the discontinuation of the flooring we will need to change ALL of the flooring in our home. Currently, it is a safety hazard to have uneven flooring in our kitchen.We are requesting immediate correction of your error by replacing our flooring, at no cost, to the standard in which the floor should have been originally installed. 0 stars. Would not wish them upon my worst enemy. Wait... I probly would wish them upon my worst enemy! Promised a one-day installation, but took 2 weeks to complete the job. Left us with an uncarpeted main stairway complete with leaving exposed carpet tacks in-place on each step. No regard for the fact that my little kid's rooms are at the top of the steps. One of my kids punctured their foot on an exposed tack. No acknowledgement or apology from 50 Floor. They promised they would be in touch quickly to resolve and finish the job. Not only did they not contact us, but they ignored our multiple attempts to contact them. Always promising that the General Manager would call us back the same day, and then never calling us back. I had to threaten them with filing claims with BBB and Consumer Protection just to finally get them to finish the job. Finished the job two weeks after the initial install day. I've filed a dispute with them and asked to negotiate the cost in accordance with the contract terms. Their response is to threaten a lien on my property rather than to follow their own contract terms. I've now filed those complaints with BBB and Consumer Protection. First time I've ever had to do that in my life! Take my advice and stay away. read more

I don't know why I didn't check my Yelp before hiring this company to do my upstairs and stairs flooring. In hindsight I am pretty sure it was because of that friendly, honest and so eager to answer all our questions sales person...let's call him Lionel, who promised that he would be our main contact should anything concern us during installation, who was to be our personal project manager, who answered every txt we sent him up to the one where we called to say..our bathroom doors don't close, there are gaps on the finishes, the baseboards are all scratch up. We paid over 10k for a two day job that took these careless people 4 hrs. They would not wait until we could speak to someone to see what they were going to do. The four men started surrounding my husband and demanding the balance and signatures that the job was completed. Concerned for our safety lI told my husband to pay them the balance and get them out of our house. It wasn't until we went to turn in the lights in the rooms they installed carpet that we realized the power was not working, the window was cracked on the inside and there were large seams smack in the middle of the rooms. I have been asked to provide quotes for window and the electrical with proof that their installers caused the issue. We hired someone to fix the electricity as we could not wait on 50 flooring to determine if it was their fault or not. At this point, we are still waiting for our personal project salesperson to get back to us. A very polite young lady has been exchanging phone calls with us and has had to serve as the middle person. She is the only one that ever calls back and I am sure the one that gets the brunt of the unhappy customers. We were sent a 2 man crew to my house to fix seams, buckling floors and poorly installed carpet. They were schedule for 12-4, they called at 8AM. Saying they had other work in the afternoon and it was now or never, they worked until 5PM. . At this point I just want this nightmare to be over. I can not believe the level of disappointment. Just to let you know, that I have reached out to them twice before leaving this review. We contacted them about the current promotion that they were having for Memorial Day. Last week we had them out to our house to measure and get a quote. The current deal was 50% off and free installation. Their quote was astronomically high (like 200% mark up). I always do my research and know the products and rough cost of things to have a general idea of what we would be paying. When we were told that it was going to cost $8,000.00 we quickly asked is that with the current promotion? Their sales rep said yes. So apparently if we were paying full price then, it would cost us nearly $16,000.00 plus install? He said that it would. That amount for a 30oz medium grade carpet would cost over $11 a square foot. I asked to make sure that he didn't add on 50% as the cost didn't add up right. He stated, well we calculate it a little differently. This was the first red flag. We told him that we appreciate his time and that we were going to get our carpet elsewhere. He stated, "well let me call my manager and see if he can work out a better deal". Not even 2 minutes go by and he said that he could do it for $5,500 (second red flag that they could drop it that quick when they were supposedly already selling it for half off.). The third red flag was when he said that the deal was only good while he was onsite, however he would extend it to 24 hrs. After he left we reached out to the company again to make sure that he had ran the numbers correctly. A few days later we got a phone call from them and they did state that they were sorry that we weren't going to go with them and how could they improve. Never was there a mention about the price or anything. However by this point, I wouldn't want to do any business with a company that is extremely shady. My wife and I both wondered how many elderly people have been scammed this bad by them. It's so sad, but felt that everyone should do their research and be careful prior to doing any business with this company. We have gotten another quote from another company that we will be going with. Their quote didn't have a sale going on, but still beat 50 floors quote with the supposed 50% off and even the managers deal. Update: Per their request, I have reached back out to them again. I was told that all of their review personnel were busy and that they would call me back and 6 hours later, I still haven't gotten a call back. I then realized that their response to this review was just a generic response (another red flag). Looking at their response, they said that there was other costs that were associated with the install. So I guess when you state that you are giving free installation, that you really aren't since there is other fees? Once again another red flag. First of all, my finished basement walls were smudged with black handprints...then my tile floors had streaks of black goo that I had to scrub off for an hour. Then I know they don't cover damage to baseboards, but I am now in the process of repainting all of them because they were badly marked up. I have had lots of carpeting installed throughout my life, but none like this. I can even see the seams, and the shedding of the carpet strands is unreal. UGH to this company. read more

Today marks 1 month since 50 Floor ripped out my flooring and STILL has not installed new LVT. Yes, one full month of walking on subfloor and not having my upstairs bathroom. If you are considering this company, this is your sign to get as far away from this company as possible. Here is my unfortunate (and unresolved) experience with them. January 31st, 50 floor installers removed my existing carpet and tile. When they attempted to install the new flooring, they realized the product was defective and would not click into place, leaving gaps in the floor. The installer took photos, sent to management and left. Upon going to bed that night, I realized my entire bedroom, blankets, pillows,etc was covered in a layer of dust and debris (Enough dust to write my name on my wall). The installers decided to track all the garbage through my bedroom (without permission to enter my private space) and threw it out my second story window to avoid bringing the garbage down the stairs. I escalated the issue and they offered me a $250 cleaning credit. Unfortunately, this was just the beginning. I requested a manager check the flooring before they attempt another install. He confirmed he checked the product and it was perfectly fine. On February 6th, a second installer arrived to install the flooring. To my surprise, the installer said this product was also defective and unable to be installed. I asked him to leave the flooring so I have proof this time. The same manager that "checked" the flooring, came to my house to see the flooring and said the installers must not be doing it right and the next time they attempt to install, he will be here to ensure it's done properly. Great management right? Wrong... when the 3rd installers came on february 13th, the manager never showed up with them as promised. The 3rd Installers then told me I need to add concrete to my floor as it was not level. This would be an extra cost as well. Why didn't the first 2 installers mention this? No idea. I then told the installers to check the flooring before I commit to pouring cement all over my sub floors. He checked the flooring and sure enough, he said it was defective. I called the manager back, left a voicemail and didn't hear from him for a week. I did however hear from my sales agent. He told me management reached out to him to see if they could install carpet instead of my flooring... CARPET?! Keep in mind, they just ripped out my carpet to install LVT. His sales pitch was that it would be cheaper than the flooring they were going to install. At this point, it really sunk in how careless this company is. My pets and family have had several splinters at this point, I have no upstairs bathroom (because they removed my toilet and put it in my shower) and they can't install the floor. I finally heard back from the manager on 2/19 offering to match the flooring the best they can with another type. The issue is, my entire house is the flooring I picked, and I need the upstairs to match. He assured me it will match and I wouldn't notice a difference. On 2/20, the sales guy came with the proposed flooring. It didn't match. At all. I picked out a different floor that was a closer match (from a sample square), but assured them I would not proceed if it the final Product didn't match. It is now 2/28 (over a week later) and I still have not heard back from 50 floor on a proposed install date. I hope my story can save you the headache. Go with another company. read more

As a repeat customer, I contacted 50floor to replace two rooms flooring. The sales representative that came out was very polite and professional. When the installers came to install, I was told that the under floor was uneven and I need to pay almost another additional one thousand dollars after the carpet and previous flooring was removed before they would install the new floor. With my floors turn up, and furniture stacked up I had no choice. They called the office and I had a discussion with a very disrespectful, nasty customer service person. Ok, so the need to repair underfloor was ok, and the cost was overpriced to fix, BUT the customer service was NOT acceptable. This business 50floor need to remember that continued repeat business and customer satisfaction are tied to courtesy and politeness of their customer service. Give this company a shot!!!!!! Reps (ask for Spencer) were friendly knowledgeable and what they said is exactly what was done. Also in the time frame they allotted for. I had a contractor hired for 4 months prior I had to fire due to all talk and they did what needed to to done in record time. I met with them, went over pricing, agreed, ordered floors on Thursday , floors came in following Tuesday, old hard woods removed Thursday and new floors installed Friday. That's service!!!!!!
