For a group of ~20 it was perfect: I believe 10 can play at a time so we got to switch in and out. The game itself is a mix of lacrosse and number cars - even more fun than I expected, and our group of ~30 year olds plus some parents had a blast. They also have an arcade, bowling, and an escape room - plus probably other stuff I missed! They had tables you could book/reserve which is nice and service drinks and food like pizzas.

I was surprised at how much space there was inside, and how much there was to do in there. We didn't get a chance to try the actual whirly ball activity, but we did go bowling and play at the arcades. We ate dinner there one night and also spent some time at the bar. I actually enjoyed the birria taco with the consumes. The flavors were there. I think it was evenly balanced out. More meat is always great, but I don't think it was lacking. My son had the tenders, which was OK. The bartenders were also the servers. One bartender particularly was extremely nice and efficient. Both nights we went there were not too busy, but a fair amount of customers. We had a great time and were able to roam around to see what they had to offer.

When I looked them up they offer laser tag, nerf gun tag and VR experience. We decided to try the nerf gun experience. You can do it in 30 min intervals or hour intervals. If you don't do it often 30 mins is plenty it's a lot to running around and your adrenaline going'. Tons of fun and ridiculously intense! When we went it was a very small group just 4 of us with one random person. Make sure to wear eat wear. They can provide it for you or get your own. Definitely want to go again but make sure to dress comfy and to sweat.

They had me tables and chairs that you came sit and wait in front. Staff checked in with our group to make sure all have signed a waiver in advance to ensure quick check in lines. They have a couple kiosks that you can sign the waivers too if you haven't done so. Once all w checked in, we were stamped and gathered to follow instructions/procedures. It was a workout! I didn't know what to expect, but that was fun

This place truly feels like the future of gaming…read more I'm 30 years old and still left feeling like I got a full cardio workout in... but with a huge smile on my face the entire time. What I love most is how interactive everything is. Each room is private to your group (up to 5 players), so you're always playing with the people you came with, no awkward mixing with strangers. It makes it perfect for families, friends, or even a team outing with coworkers. The Mega Grid is hands-down my favorite and the main reason I keep coming back. It's fast-paced, challenging, and ridiculously fun.If you're looking for something different that gets you moving and laughing, this is the spot.

Activate is a super fun, high-energy experience, but plan ahead - especially at Mall of America…read more First tip: give yourself plenty of time to find it. We arrived about 30 minutes early and still felt rushed. The mall directions led us to a first kiosk, but Activate is actually on the third floor, so that added some confusion. When we arrived, there was a fairly long line. I had pre-registered online using a gift card, but at check-in they initially said I owed the full amount. I had to ask them to locate and apply the gift card I had already purchased. Once that was sorted out, each person in our group had to sign in separately, which takes a few minutes per person. They did provide a free locker, which was great. I highly recommend putting all jackets and hoodies in there - you will get hot fast. Once signed in, the instructions are very brief, but easy enough to figure out as you go. We were a group of six and hoped to play together, but had to split into two groups. That ended up being fine because we competed against each other, which was actually fun. There are about 10 rooms, and each room offers multiple game options. Every game earns you points, and there's a large scoreboard showing rankings, which adds a fun competitive element. We went on a busy day, so we did have short waits for some games, but usually only a couple of minutes. One downside: I wish there were a water fountain inside the gaming area. You can't bring water bottles in, and while there is a fountain by the lockers, our one-hour session flew by and we barely had time to step out. Overall, we had a great time and would absolutely do it again. Tips if you go: 1. Arrive at least 30 minutes early to find it and check in. 2. Wear shorts, a T-shirt and running shoes. 3. Drink water before you start. Fun, fast-paced, and a great workout!

It…read morewas cool to try some viral stuff I hadn't had before--like the Dubai chocolate strawberries--but the pricing was wild. Grilled squid was $30, Tanghulu had candy coating only on the front side (also $30), and most other items started at $11-$15. I did like the K-pop group dance performances and other entertainment tucked into the corner of the fest--it gave it some nice energy. Since this was their first Twin Cities run, I gave them a little grace. But the whole time slot system was a mess... "sold out online" yet still selling $20 tickets at the door to anyone who walked up. Hopefully year two is a little more organized--with lessons learned, fingers crossed!

I had a unique experience at Panda Fest as a volunteer and later on as an attendee…read more I'd say as volunteer it was pretty mixed feelings about the overall experience. There's for sure pros and cons. I may come back and update with more details later on but I'll leave at that for now. I was in FRI/SAT via vol but the lines were wrapped. Despite them having time slot tickets, many people showed up whenever and were still allowed in, which is accommodating but at the same time caused longer lines and larger crowds to move through. Also was a sold out event but they had time slots where you can purchase a ticket at the gate. As for the food- they did have a lot of repetitive booths even some right across from each other which put in perspective that the entry fee should have been much lower, it wasn't a TON of unique vendors. They did have cute trendy foods but the prices were a bit high for just trying something because it's "aesthetic". There were a ton of boba places (which I love boba) but for minimum of 10$+ for a cup I'd rather walk the 3-4 minutes over to the mall and grab something for a few $ less and more options. I did love to see Càphin there & some other locals. They had super cute panda merch but it was TAXED to the max imo for what it was. They didn't have much signage to help people navigate especially to the exit. So that would have been helpful. Also more seating or even standing tables for people to rest and put things down from time to time would have been nice especially at a food event. There's some other things I didn't care for that reflect my star rating but I'd rather address elsewhere but would be a better event if they organized a bit more and were/open to feedback.
