First impression: Had a reservation at 5pm, showed up at 4:50pm and they wouldn't let us inside because it wasn't opened yet. Keep in mind they are downtown, we took public transit and then a scooter to get here, and because it was winter it was freezing outside. We had to walk to the bar across the street to stay warm until our reservation exactly at 5pm. When we arrived inside, most of the floors were wet and there were no wet floor signs posted. Girl, I'm in heels, and I tell you I was walking like a penguin in front of my date making sure I didn't slip and die haha Food: the deviled eggs were incredible. 5/5 stars, would come back specifically for them. They have a pretty good happy hour Wed-Fri 5-8pm where deviled eggs are $5 for three. We ordered the chips and queso and lamb shank appetizers. Lamb shank was delicious but not shareable, so keep that in mind. Service: It took about 40 minutes to receive chips and salsa and eggs. The lamb came out 5 mins later and we never got the queso (the main reason I wanted to come here was queso and cocktails so a tad disappointed). The waitress, Dylan (spelling?), was so nice and brought us some extra eggs to make up for the lack of queso. They weren't out, just said it would take another half an hour to be ready. By this time it's almost 6pm. We would come back to request the waitress again because she was just so helpful with the menu and incredibly kind. Atmosphere: this is a beautiful bar with colorful blue and red lighting and Neon signs. Lots of plant decor made it feel very inviting. However, the music was so loud it felt like we were in a club. The quality of the speaker was actually shaking during a song with high notes, and a guy kept coming out from the back and turning it up more. It was almost impossible to have a conversation. This would make sense if it was past 8 PM on a Friday night, but we were there during the daylight and there were only four other tables seated. The space is very confusing because when I tried to reserve a 6 PM online, it showed the restaurant was full, so 5 PM was my only option, but there was hardly anyone there and the place was so big and people were seated so far apart the vibes were off. I think they have a lot about hospitality to learn and for a newer establishment, I am hopeful they will begin to improve (mainly the kitchen and timing), I would hate to see another place like this go out of business. I will be visiting again in the coming months to update my review and have those scrumptious deviled eggs.

So good! The food was amazing! I had the chicken wings and fries, which were very good! Seasoned to perfection!

This is another location that I saw ads for on IG. I was super excited to visit and it did not disappoint. Another location in walking proximity from conference hotel. Ambiance: very cute decor, television screens for sports fans, nice led walls for photo ops and comfortable seating. There is also a patio area. Music: great playlist of past and present hits. Food: dispitea small crowd at the time of our arrival, it took a while for food to arrive. However, I will say the $1 Wednesday wing special was delicious. Required a minimum of 10 wings, which I feel is reasonable. I added a side of fries. Drinks: several specials to choose from I opted to order the Flight Shots, which includes 6 Shots Irish Whiskey Deal for $30. I chose green tea shots which everyone loved. If I lived locally, I could for sure see this as a great hangout spot. They have nightly deals which will help increase their patronage.

Wrongly charged for a ranch. Horrible service. I'd rather go to AFC wings for double the price to get my food in a timely manner.

THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS. I have been coming here religiously since it opened. They have some of the best wings. I will no longer come here because of the service. I arrived at 8:50pm on Wednesday 3/18. My order was taken 40mins later at 9:30. Half of my order was delivered at 10:06. I had another order arrive at 10:30. My order NEVER ARRIVED. I was told by the waitress that my order was not coming out per the kitchens decision. Mind you we all only ordered 10 wings so 30/40 wings arrived after HOURS. I was only offered a comp for the order that did not arrive, THATS NOT A COMP I DID NOT RECEIVE ANY FOOD- I received nothing to comp. The manager offered us drinks as an apology... I was made to pay for my original two orders which were now COLD. She said there was nothing she can do. The drinks she offered us were most expensive than the wings I ordered. I asked for a full refund they said no. I was a loyal customer but I will not be back. I was there for a total of 3 hours and did not receive MY food and had to pay for the COLD take out. Do not support this business.

They throw nice parties for groups with champagne in a lit bowl and sparkles

PLEASE NOTE: All reviews are about the ELITES EXPERIENCE and can not be about others experiences, therefore, this is my honest and true experience as an ELITE! LETS GOOOO! This sports restaurant/bar is lit! My Cousins friends had her part 3 Goodbye cocktail party here. We had a freaking blast!!! Bella was our waitress for the evening and served us with a smile. Bella was very attentive and professional! We had a great time here! The music was as were the cocktails (I stopped at my limit but my Cousins friends kept trying to pour them on me). Nope madams. 2 is my limit but, 3 if I'm feeling risky lol Grateful The crowd here was a mixture of unseasoned /seasoned humans and was very diverse. The beautiful (respectfully)Bella kept checking on me and treated our table like we were her only customers which was nice but she made her rounds to her other tables but ours was SPECIAL. It's always nice when bosslike humans treat you like you're a celebrity. (Versus ignoring you) Thanks to Bella for being and also thanks to her peers (the unseasoned humans) who kept clearing our table in a timely manner. They were all deserving of the tips poured upon them. Bella looked shocked when I tipped her personally because of her awesome service specifically towards me. She continued to stay on top of things which I greatly appreciated! (Again, Only speaking from my own experience) Probably why Bella treated me like I was a freaking lottery winner (without the winnings) I have a huge respect for anyone serving public. Always tip your servers for their hard work and for good juju. Amen If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely return here. I asked to take a photo with her because of her awesome service and because she deserved to be recognized. I didn't tell her anything about yelp until we were leaving in which, I told her that I was posting our photo, which she approved. Not only did she allow the photo but this lovely human BELLA, took over the camera showing another human how to adjust and take the photo. She's ! WHAT A BEAUTIFUL SOUL I recommend everyone to stop here and ask to be seated in Bellas area. Tell her that I sent you, since she will most likely be surprised and will definitely give you VIP treatment. Btw... to the guy/ ALLEDGLY the Owner at the door who was admiring my photo skills My Cousin told him that, I was an INFLUENCER... dude was invested. Lmaooooooo LMAOOOOOOO ...Sir, I apologize for my Cousin telling you that I was a celebrity figure although, your entire bar made me feel like one... YOU ROCK SIR respectfully We enjoyed our time at your bar Sir. Please give Bella a raise and 2 Months off with pay! Lmaooooooo COUSINS ARE LIFE There's plenty of safe, free parking onsite with fire rides parked there! (I NOTICED BECAUSE I'M A CAR CHICK) THANKS TO the entire staff! Give em all raises!

Denver has needed a new spot that is laid back and caters to the mature crowd, and 4Play does just that. This lounge-style restaurant is a hidden gem that offers great music, solid service, and some pretty damn good wings. The menu at 4Play is relatively simple, so you know that what they do, they do well. My wings came out quickly and were packed with flavor. The fries that came with them were equally good; crispy and well-seasoned. 4Play is perfectly located for sports fans, being just minutes away from all the major stadiums. It would be an excellent spot to hang out before a game, grab some wings and a drink, and get yourself into the game-day mindset. Overall, I loved my experience at 4Play. It's the perfect place to unwind with friends or gather with coworkers after a long day. I will definitely be back soon and recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to eat, drink, and chill.

Delicious food and good vibes! Expensive cocktails but worth it. We got done with the ball game and came next door for more drinks and snacks... The cocktails are delicious even if pricey, and if you're good with doing something fancy then switching to bottled beer, this is a PERFECT place. The staff are so nice and the music is fun. If you're looking for an upbeat place with yummy snacks next to the ballpark THIS IS YOUR SPOT!

I feel like I'll need to give this a try again once they get established a little more and work out the kinks because i wanted to love this place but didnt quite get there. I've heard great things about day time but I went on a busy Friday night and our waitress just wasn't very attentive so I never even placed a food or drink order with her because well she was never available. The parking lot machines were not working (probably not a 4Play responsibility but it definitely impacts business) and one of the few bathroom stalls was out of order causing and even longer wait time in the community restroom. The security at the entrance was great, friendly until they had to put game faces on and then all over a disruptive patron. The ambiance looks really nice. There's potential here

Finally, a little slice of culture back into the "FIVE POINTS" downtown Denver area, heavily gentrified in recent years. Now directly next to the side entrance of Coors field on 22nd & Blake, is this nice new social lounge/bar. We have been seeing ads for weeks and decided to pop in on the Grand Opening Day on March 30th. As soon as you walk in, you know the vibes. The construction of this establishment was nicely crafted. Security greets you at the door and routinely checks IDs. As soon as you step in, you may request a table from one of the 3 hostesses at the booth. Otherwise, you are free to sit anywhere along the long bar that fills most of this establishment. My group decided to sit at the bar. Immediately upon sitting, we were greeted by beautiful & handsome (pause) bartenders. The bartenders were super friendly and attentive to us & others around the bar. Food and specialty drink menus were placed in front of us along with glasses of water. A few of us decided on the specialty crafted cocktails, I stuck with my Mezcal & Ginger beer. Evertime I pop up in there All the Bartenders greet me w/ a smile say Hi, chop it up, and get me normal Mezcal & Ginger beer. I love the service & professionalism of all the people behind the bar no matter how busy it is. If you are looking for nice Grown & Sexy vibes while listening to great R&B & Hip-Hop DJs spin, this is your place. They have a nice rotation of different Djs to keep it fresh! You will hear a heavy rotation of 90s Hip-Hop/R&B along w/ modern musicians from East Coast West Coast to the Dirty South. I believe I even heard some drops of Afro Bears & Latin flare thrown in there occasionally. The clientele are spectacular. I have not seen so many good looking people dressed to the nines like they were in Miami or ATL social clubs. Everyone just has smiles on their faces and laughter fills the air as people vibe out to the great music the DJs are spinning and just having a great time amongst other great vibing adults. One thing they focus on is their Lamb chops. A few people had their lamb chops, Spring Rolls and fries. Recently I have seen chicken & Waffles. I believe they do a weekly rotation on small plates/tapas they offer. Upon coming back one day I will try the other food items. There is plenty of seating, but I believe there is a reservation system for most of their tables. Yes they can organize this portion, but they will eventually get this running more fluid over time, they are a new establishment, be patient. Like most establishments downtown they sit full parties only per the hostess. This place is definitely THE NEW HOT SPOT in the city for Hip-Hop/R&B for responsible and the Grown & Sexy. This is not tour typical Hipster/Swanky Gentified Bar/Social lounge, so no this is not for everyone, but they certainly invite everyone of all sexualities, races, & creed inside to come in & enjoy yourself responsibly. I have never in my 25+ years in Denver seen such a diverse chill crowd enjoying themselves with this vibe. With such popularity comes, jealously, envy and jaded dishonestly about a minority owned and ran establishment. I've seen the recent reviews, which blew my friends mind. Some individuals in the community have made up accounts to bash this place, you can tell this is their only review w/ 1-2 reviews. Some just bash every establishment they've reviewed. This is not like the country western bar which has had shootings/ stabbings w/ a countrywide manhunt for the perp; on Market street that the community doesn't talk about.....shhhh Or the same issues from the other techno bar/Edm bar right across from them on Market. Places are going to have issues at times, it's the Brave New World of Downtown Denver since covid closures & increased homelessness the city needs to properly address to protect all establishments period. All I can say is try this spot for yourself if you love Hip-Hop/R&B! You will not be disappointed in the energy and vibes pouring out this building l, no matter who you are cat, dog, alien, and/or human. This is a safe space and community of fine ass woman & men (pause) just VIBING out on some grown shhhh like this is Houston, ATL, Miami, NYC. 4Play is just trying to bring culture & postive energy back to the area We used to call HARLEM of the WEST!!! Come one Come All, come for the Vibes!!!! #YOUKNOWTHEVIBES A lil 4PLAY in ya life can spice things up.

Wings And Waffles

This place had a great atmosphere for a Sunday afternoon. The food was good. I had the shrimp po boy and my friend had the wings and waffles. The chef comes out and delivers the food directly which was neat. The service needs improvement and I still have mixed feelings about the physical pat down when I walked in the establishment. Overall, an enjoyable party vibe, but pricey!

Music and vibes was at an all time high but that's not the only positives to expect from this establishment, there's more! We stopped by here for my friends surprise birthday cocktail/dinner fiasco. The staff were super friendly and personable. Even though it was a lounge type setting I was happy management did a great job at hiring non snobby staff. We started off with drinks while waiting for my friend to arrive. The Espresso Martini was probably the best I've tasted ANYWHERE. They use a cold brew with Kahlua, baileys and maybe some other things. Very delicious! Once the birthday girl got in they ordered drinks and they chose a lemon drop only elevated. Our server informed us they could add a flavored puree that they make fresh in house to the lemon drop. If the Espresso Martini didn't have me in a chokehold I would've tried that but both my friends enjoyed their drink thoroughly. There were a lot of great photo ops there. The bathroom was on a whole other level. There was a bathroom attendant and when I tell you she had everything, not even my bathroom is this well stocked. She handed people their perfectly proportioned paper towels, offered mints, had perfume and cologne waiting on deck, and more. Then we ordered the food... Most of our table ordered wings, a few of them got the po'boys. The wings and fries were crispy, juicy, and bursting with flavor. Downright delicious. If you're looking for a good time in downtown Denver with drinks, food, music, just an all around good time this is the place to go!

Listen man! Absolute fire! from the setting to the ambiance to the service! The pictures is either self explanatory or serving no justice. Best fish sandwich in Denver CO hands Down!!!

Friends and I came here for an overpriced cocktail and the clientele made it EXTREMELY CLEAR that we were not welcome. One guest came and sat at our table and became very aggressive. So we just decided to leave. The vibe is loud and cheap, fake plants and neon everywhere. The drinks are roughly 10 bucks each and not well done. I didn't try the food as we were pushed out by the rude clientele. Then find out there was a Shooting here. Only been in business 3 weeks and it's clear that this business needs to GO! The owners seem to have zero concern for safety, our community or reasonable security checks of patrons. AVOID AT ALL COST

Bedlam was recommended to us for late night drinks by staff working in one of the restaurants at our hotel. During our short stay in Denver, we went to Bedlam twice. The first time was around 11:30 on a Thursday night. We had a few cocktails along with a cheese and charcuterie plate. The second time was around 12:30 on a Saturday night when we came in for a night cap. The first time we came in, it wasn't too busy, and we were encouraged to sit wherever we wanted. The bar was full so we chose a small table. Our server gave us menus, though specials were written on a chalkboard above the bar. We each tired a couple of cocktails and had a shot called the Master Shot. We also chose the make-your-own charcuterie board. Our favorite drink was the Woo Girl, which allowed us to choose our spirit of choice. I chose gin and my friend chose tequila. When we returned a couple of nights later, we knew already we were going to order the Woo Girl cocktail. It was packed on a Saturday night, but there was a small table in back where they seated us. This bar is more for spending time with the friends you come with, rather than mingling, as staff seats you at a table. It doesn't seem like they offer standing room or just squeezing in, though maybe we just didn't experience that. That said, all in all, I really enjoyed Bedlam and recommend it to anyone going to Denver.

That's when I came across Dearly Departed and I'm so glad I did. We arrived right when they opened at 5pm and were able to walk in and be seated immediately. The speakeasy is tucked into the underground portion of the restaurant, which adds to the charm. The space is beautifully decorated, moody, intimate, and effortlessly upscale. It truly sets the tone the moment you walk down. We ordered two spritzes and a charcuterie board, and both exceeded expectations. The drinks were refreshing, perfectly balanced, and felt elevated without being overcomplicated. But the real star was the charcuterie board. For $20, it was an incredible value, stacked with a variety of meats, cheeses, fresh veggies, nuts, and peppers. The freshly grilled bread was a standout touch, and the portions were more than generous. Every bite felt thoughtfully curated, and there was something new and delicious in every corner of the board. Between the ambiance, the quality of the drinks, and the impressive food, Dearly Departed delivered an experience that felt both cozy and refined. I'd absolutely recommend checking it out for the atmosphere alone. I'm already looking forward to going back and trying more from their menu.

Cozy spot for some classy bites and cocktails. I think I probably got off on the wrong foot when I asked for sparkling water instead of flat and found out it was $7 per personal mini bottle (and they don't have club soda). My first time encountering that in Denver in the last 14 years... The cocktail concept is cool: pick a classic, slightly updated, or super creative version from 5 categories (martini, old fashioned, sour, spritz, highball). The spicy mango sour (with mezcal) was awesome -- although I expected egg white on a sour. The martinis were ok... a bit of a let-down in today's collection of Denver martinis at other local spots (think anchovy, sour cream and onion, holy trinity, and old bay). The food was also hit or miss. We loved the cauliflower/potato Bravas with the slightly spicy sauce, as well as the croquettes and their sauce. The tuna crudo was super bland, which is disappointing for $19.
