Easy to pay and enjoy the pre-visit to learn more about service and have our pups meet. And get accustomed to who was going to be taking care of them. We have used Teresa services twice in the last two months now when we have gone out of town. Both times Moni took care of my three dogs as if they were her own, we get pictures via text after each visit and she takes the effort to spend quality time with them. I do know one thing, after we come back in town they look for Moni for a few days. I am so glad we found this service as my wife really doesn't trust just anyone with her "gang". The only negative I can think of is I don't completely understand the pricing as we usually have them come 2-3 times a day. Overall I really don't think it's expensive so really don't worry about it. Teresa came highly recommended and she did not disappoint. We were out of town for a week and simply didn't like the idea of boarding our dog for that long - or at all. I used 4 Paws for, well, I can't remember how long! Teresa and her staff (particularly Sabine!) have been a part of my pups life for so long they feel like family. After several bad experiences with non-professional dog-walkers (neighborhood kids, neighbors, etc), I found Teresa on Yelp. What a difference! She truly understands the vendor/client relationship and realizes that great customer service is the way to get and keep clients. She and her staff are caring and professional. And very flexible. They understand that work schedules change at, sometimes, short notice and were always available. Unlike some companies, Teresa never made me jump through a bunch of hoops or pay a fine if I had to add or cancel a walk on short notice. I have to travel for business and felt extremely comfortable leaving my dogs at home and have Teresa and her staff pop in 4 times a day to walk and feed them. Teresa always returned my phone calls (*if* I had to leave a message, which was rare!) or emails quickly. If my regular walker couldn't make a walk, Teresa did it herself! She NEVER canceled a walk because no one was available to do it. She treats her clients with respect and clearly loves dogs. I recently moved from her service area and am so sad that my pups won't have 4 Paws Walkers anymore! We never had a back up plan for our dog in case we went out of town and our very reliable friend couldn't dog sit so we went on the hunt. The moment I spoke with Teresa I knew she was what we were looking for for our princess. She kept daily logs (written, text , and email) to up date me on the days events. I found Teresa via Care.com and boy, I am glad I did! I am a crazy dog mama. By crazy, I mean that I treat my dogs like they are my kids. My standards are impossibly high when it comes to the care of my babies and they just want someone who will pet them.. that all being said, I wish I could box up Teresa and take her with me for our relocation. I love, love, LOVE her and am not above trying to bribe her to visit us. She took excellent care of not only my girls, but me too! I bragged to all of my friends about what a dynamo dog sitter/walker I'd found - no exaggeration! Teresa sent regular emails, texts, pictures and even left daily notes regarding my dogs' activities, whether it was just a feed and walk or a whole week in my home. She let my dogs sleep in bed with her (my older pup woke her up to have a staring contest in the middle of the night, which still makes me laugh.. my girl can be a weird, but sweet, old coot). My younger pup has a little separation anxiety and would sulk when I pulled out a suitcase. Once she figured out that the suitcases meant Teresa was coming to stay with her, I think she was actually giddy to see me start packing and the pouting upon my return completely stopped. I once had a flight delay in coming home, which was no problem. I had an unexpected late work day where I emailed Teresa eleventh hour and asked her if she could feed/walk my girls, which was no problem. I contacted her just days before a business trip to ask her if she could help me out, which was - AGAIN - no problem. Teresa took excellent care of my home and actually vacuumed and cleaned during my trips away. Embarrassingly for me, I came home to a cleaner house than I left. I cannot gush enough about the impeccable customer service and care that my girls and I received with every single interaction and I recommend 4 Paws with every fiber of my being! read more

We adopted our dog back in July and since he is a little over a year old, we wanted to make sure he was walked during the day when we are at work. I heard through another company about Teresa and found out she works in our area. The first time she met our dog, he barked at her for an hour and half! We felt so bad and were a little worried what would happen when she came to walk him the first day. She went home and wrote us an email an hour later seeing if she could come back over the next day. She wanted to bring her dog and for us to meet outside. That meeting could not have gone better! We met outside and our dog fell in love with her dog. He was a little hesitant but eventually let Teresa walk him. We went in and out of the house a few times to get him used to her. For the first week, Teresa brought her dog with her. We did not mind at all, as long as our dog wasn't afraid of her. Teresa's dog was a WONDERFUL distraction! Since that first week, our dog LOVES to see Teresa when she comes to let him out. She puts him on a long leash and lets him run wild in the field. Since he is still in his puppy stage, he loves running and she calls him her "Wild Man"! It is so nice to know our dog is in excellent hands while we are at work. She writes what he did and how the day went every time she walks him in a log book. It's funny to read some of the things that he does while on his walks. Teresa also takes pictures and sends them to us occasionally. She takes some of the best pictures of our dog and can really catch his true personality! We have never had an issue with Teresa and she is totally reliable.
