She would send somebody out for $300 but it would be three or four weeks before she could do that. WHAT??? Awesome customer service guys!! we won't be back and I suggest anybody else use them cautiously.!! Apparently they only warranty their work for 1 year and if anything goes wrong, it's the customers fault! I'm sure under mount sinks are supposed to hang on longer than three years!!

There needs to be more supervision and teaching for the young men they send out to do the job. Didn't get what we paid for. Very disappointing! I'm in my late 70's and had to get out and try to put another coat of stain on, to try to improve their mess. The top of the rail had been initially painted. This had been pointed out at the very beginning & again to the young gentlemen doing the staining. They were to prepare the rail & paint with a color similar to the present color. However stain was put on the rail instead of paint, and of course stain isn't going to cover pealing of old paint or fix bubbles in the old paint. There was no checking up or follow up after job was done. the cost was way to high for the job we received and for the size of our Deck/Porch. They didn't even have to stain spokes in the railing because they are metal & in good condition. We regret we didn't contact the office and complain!

I have to say, without a doubt, DJ's Painting & Remodeling Services was absolutely the most professional and the most comprehensive estimate that we received. We still need to make a decision about going forward with having the house painted, but I can tell you this, whether we have it painted or not or when we have it painted, we will absolutely be going only with DJ's Painting & Remodeling Services. The owner came out looked at the house, took his time, asked many questions (this house was built in 1870 and an addition was put on about 35 years ago so there was a lot to consider) spent time photographing, and was very interested in helping us with this unique house. The next day I got a call from his office to set up a date for us to come back in and go over the estimate; the best I've gotten from any of the others was an email to estimate or a phone call saying they were interested. We attended the estimate meeting, and were greeted by the staff who were all wonderful and nice, the office is very professional, and we met with the owner himself to go over the estimate. There was one for each my wife and I, along with an assistant to help us look at photographs and pictures as well as even a few color options when going through the estimate. The estimate came in right about where I thought it was going to be, and a little higher than my wife thought it was going to be, but I feel absolutely certain, just based on the experience so far, that they would do an amazing job painting our historic home! We received a follow up call about a week later, and I let them know that we were still looking at timing. So far I have been so impressed with their professionalism, how well their office runs and is managed, The jobs that they were able to show us they had already completed in the area on similar homes, and their commitment to the Bloomington and normal area and it's history, including their office building. I can't wait to have them paint our home in the spring and be able to update this with pictures and more great review information!
