I was hoping to find a place where I could safely enjoy a date night and eat out for the first time…read morein nearly 14 years. While I appreciate having a local health food store in Longview, I was disappointed to find that the kitchen and premade food section doesn't fully align with a clean-eating standard. Because many meals are pre-assembled, it isn't possible to remove common allergens like corn or cheese. Looking closely at the ingredients, items include mayonnaise with high fructose corn syrup, sweet potato fries cooked in soybean oil, and Hormel meats with added hormones. Longview has a strong demand for truly non-inflammatory and allergen-friendly options. Simple kitchen updates would transform this into a go-to spot for people with strict dietary needs: Offering customizable, build-your-own options (so ingredients like corn or dairy can be left off) Swapping to clean base ingredients, like avocado oil for cooking and corn-syrup-free mayo (like Primal Kitchen) Introducing organic ingredients, hormone-free meats, and grain-free menu items There are so many people in our community with sensitivities who would love to be loyal, regular customers if safer, cleaner options were available!

The restaurant/smoothie side's menu and staff were disappointingly inadequate. I tried to order…read moresomething that would accommodate my food allergies, by substituting one fruit for another, and nondairy milk for frozen yogurt, in a drink. First the guy had to check if it was alright. To substitute things. Which, um, why doesn't he already know? Then, he overcharged me, and when I said something, Valerie came to 'help', overcharging me even more, such that what should've been a $6.99 drink was NOW going to be $11, despite my not including 4-5 of the ingredients in it! If you are at all concerned with the integrity of ingredients, want to know exactly what you're drinking, or would prefer a place that works with you so you can actually have something that won't send you on a flare, DO NOT come here. If you're traveling through and need something healthy, for the love of god, pass by this place and go to either The Granary or to Natural Grocers, both just a few minutes down the road. The store side was unfortunately unimpressive as well - they just didn't have the selection or stock of say, The Granary or Natural Grocers, and it was really expensive. Also the staff over there reeked of bad perfume, and didn't know where stuff was. This may be a healthy place for lunch if you've just started trying to be healthy and are comparing it to say, fried chicken and fries. But bread, wheat, dairy frozen yogurt, orange juice, pineapple juice - these are not healthy things.

Great place to shop. A lot of fresh vegetables meat at a really good price. I feel like it's a…read morehealthier option but a lot of other places.

I've waited a little bit to post this because I've been waiting for Aldi corporate to message me…read moreback...it's been a month and I haven't heard anything. Last month, my sister and I went to this location. After shopping, we went to the register. There was only one line open and there were four people in front of us. The two people directly in front of us were elderly Hispanic women. (I was getting mother and daughter vibes). The checker, Bethany, said "excuse me", while trying to get their attention. The two women were talking among themselves and didn't hear her. Bethany proceeded to yell louder and when they turned around, she said "yall can go to register one" The ladies were confused as there were no other checkers there...Bethany then yelled "one, register one" held up one finger and said "one, uno, it even looks the same". My sister and I looked at each other in shock, because we couldn't believe she was acting that way...now mind you, this was all in a condescending voice. Bethany then proceeded to talk about them to the lady she was checking out. When it was time for us to checkout, we weren't greeted, but instead, she started talking about how the lady before us couldn't get her stuff and put it on the counter to bag, but how she just had to do it right there. My sister and I said nothing...as we didn't want to become another victim of her griping! My sister put her card in, and Bethany said "oh finally, someone who has their card ready". We got our receipt, and she said "wow, thank you girls, you were the friendliest people I've had today"...this was in a sarcastic voice of course...I said "yeah, you've been super friendly, too". While we were bagging, she started talking about us to the next people who were checking out.... I turned and interrupted her and said "your customer service sucks"...she then proceeded to yell as us the whole way out the door! Absolutely shocking and horrifying! I can't believe someone who is so racist and who apparently hates people is working at the front of the store.
