Absolutely five stars to my ortho, Dr. Silverstein, I would highly recommend him for a hip replacement. Due to an injury, I had my right hip replaced in October 2022. Dr. Silverstein saw me as soon as I was released from the emergency room and fit me into his schedule for emergency surgery. I also immediately felt comfortable with him, as he was straight forward. Fast forward 1.5 years later, I need my left hip replaced and there was no hesitation to return to him. He and his PA were wonderful, as well as the office staff. My husband went there, staff is not helpful or friendly. They taught us they had received his records, then made him pay the co-pay just to turn around and say they can't do anything because they didn't receive his records and that he will have to come back another day. Then X-rays they refuse to give you a proper device such as a brace unless u pay cash or they send you away with what u had when u walked in the 3 rd time xray and the fourth without any xray with noticeably disfigured wrist they set u up for 360 PT. This is a very shabby operation. I received a referral from my GP and tried calling several times to set up an appointment. Every time got to a recording telling me to hold on, and after a long time finally telling me to leave a message and they would call back. They never called back. After a few days of this, I decided to go to their office. The address my referring doctor had was incorrect. When I got to the address, a receptionist there told me lots of people come there looking for 360 Orthopedics and she gave me their correct address. Apparently they have never bothered notifying referring physicians of their correct address. When I finally found their office, I ended up waiting over an hour to see the receptionist, who was quite vindictive and bitchy and kept telling me to wait and she would get to me. Eventually I left. I will not be going back to these people. I have notified my GP never to give a referral to them again. read more

Great practice. I have been treated for 2 injuries. The orthopedist were compassionate and honest with me about what to expect. The physical therapist were amazing. Supportive and compassionate, gently pushing me to achieve goals. Definitely advise anyone looking for a great team to try 360 orthopedics and 360 physical therapy. read more

I was here 6 weeks ago regarding chronic neck issues. The doctor told me he would get me scheduled for my procedure after they got my records from my previous doctor. I have called four times over the six week period and I was told each time that they'd get me scheduled, but still nothing. I seriously question their ability to correctly do the procedure at this point , but I've been in a lot of pain. By the way they only have one star on Yelp so consider that. read more

Called back on a referral to setup the appointment and the scheduler was beyond rude. I asked her for help and to please be kinder and she got even more upset and yelled at me. When I mentioned that perhaps I should call my physician for another referral, she said fine and slammed the phone down on me. I was shaken up by the treatment and speechless. If the office is any good I wouldn't know as I couldn't get an appointment because I was criticized for not being able to explain the medical problem that was listed on her sheet. I was assured I would receive a call back by the end of the day. It hasn't happened yet. I just tried the internet to make an appointment and was met with a white screen. I had an appt with this clown Dr. Fuhman 4 yerars ago, said I didn't need my knees replaced, gave me a cortisone shot and kicked me to the curb. Now, ky knees are in terrible shape, I can't walk a block without considerable pain. I have been trying to get back in to inquire about visco gel injections. I contacted my PCP for a referral and he sent me back to these clowns. He insisted they've changed. Well, he was wrong. Been waiting over 2 months now just to get an appt. I called today and this flippant little b**** said, and i quote: "It's not our fault that you have an HMO plan. I saw Dr. Silverstein's PA in the Venice Office. It was like talking to a wall. She was not friendly or interested in discussion - her way or nothing. I felt her call was for any senior - a slice and dice decision -knee or hip or both. They are interested in the big-ticket to line their bank account. I left a message for her and she never returned my calls. I had to call the office to finally get someone to send out my PT referral, which took 8+ workdays and delayed my physical therapy longer causing more pain. I had to ask her multiple times for physical therapy. I am not sure it would've happened if I had not persisted. I may need knee surgery, but I needed to have a painful injury treated first before I made that decision. The x-ray staff was very friendly. The front staff wasn't bad. 360 Physical Therapy is not related to this doctor's office, btw. They are great! read more

Dr Barre is the best ortho doctor I've ever been to. I have recommended many friends who also are very pleased with her abilities. She handled my knee problems, then assisted Dr Silverstein with my knee replacement in 2020. My recovery time was speedy. I'm headed back to her with a bad hip. read more

First off, if there was a way to give less than one star or even negative stars, I would. For me, my experience with Sarasota Orthopedic Associates was a scam. The four visits I had were complete wastes of time and money. I am a disabled Army veteran and was charged $150.00 for the doctor to fill out a veteran's disability form, in which he did not complete the form in its entirety nor accurately, so I was unable to use the form. I took time off of work to make several visits back to the office locations and left several messages with staff to get this corrected, but nothing had been corrected and received no calls in return. I have since requested a refund, but staff will not return my calls. A medical group that rips off veterans is just deplorable. Patients and veterans beware! read more
