First they put down the rug pad and rug in our bedroom, see pictures, and then they put up the drapery in our living room, which is about a, 16 foot ceiling, at least, but they were professional, knew exactly what to do, and they did it flawlessly. This is our second use of Mr. handyman, and I have told all my friends and our realtor about them, and I would never hesitate to recommend them. They do all kinds of household jobs and they do it with professionalism and exactness. Thank you Mr. handyman.

I put in a request through yelp. He had the best price and moved his scheduled around to accommodate my current needs (house selling, inspections, etc) He was there early and had finished by the time he was actually supposed to be there. It was a simple outlet issue and instead of charging for the outlet, he showed me that the outlet was good just needed to be rewired. He really could have ran the price up but chose to be genuine and when you have someone like that (much like a good barber or mechanic) you don't go elsewhere and you go out of your way to tell people about them. I will certainly be contacting him on the future. Levan is based out of Newtown and really "could" charge Newtown prices but is an honest and trustworthy guy. Highly recommend. -J

We hired Mr. Laflame, to renovate our first home, focusing primarily on painting in preparation for…read moreupcoming family visits. Initially, Mr. Laflame seemed flexible about traveling from New Jersey to Pennsylvania and assured us that he could meet our deadline. However, from the start, he was inconsistent and unreliable. After receiving the deposit and agreeing on a start date, he tried to reschedule at the last minute and later claimed illness, delaying work for nearly a week. When he did show up, he worked sporadically, often citing excuses like traffic, dead phones, car trouble, and eventually a family medical emergency. Despite several assurances, he made little progress and left key tasks undone, including unpainted trims, mismatched ceiling colors, and exposed outlets. Frustrated and disappointed, we ultimately decided to terminate Mr. Laflamme's services after he missed yet another scheduled workday without notice. Although we had paid most of the agreed amount and made efforts to accommodate him, Mr. Laflamme left our home in an incomplete and unsafe state. We expressed feeling especially let down, as we had treated him hospitably, including providing lunch and introducing him to our family. He took all the unused paint we paid for never provided us with the recipt(probaly to return and take the money) In the end, we had to host a family gathering in an unfinished home, which was both embarrassing and upsetting. We are warning others to avoid hiring this contractor due to the heartache and inconvenience we experienced. Deleted account on thumbtack due to review BEWARE
