My first impression was it was a beautiful nail salon. I was greeted promptly and staff were very friendly and professional. I picked a chrome color with a no chip polish change. My appointment was with Kelly and all seemed well until I got home and noticed my hands didn't match and 1 hand(4 nails) only were chrome and the rest were glitter. I went back and she fixed it in about 10 minutes and now they look absolutely perfect. I had to ask the owner if there would be a charge for fixing it and he said no problem. Once again the front desk was very nice but I think Kelly seemed annoyed but I paid $45 for a polish change with chrome and tipped her 20%. I'm not one to complain or go back for repairs but I'm very satisfied now. Not sure yet if I'll be back - hopefully they last at least 3 weeks. read more

After finding the salon on Instagram - I was impressed with the designs. I also felt the majority of the staff was friendly. But I felt that for the amount that was paid (170.00) the service was lazy and services are offered for profit and not for skill. The nail tech said that completely removing the builder gel with prior gel color would be a new set lol. He left me with ombré nail beds let me know a lot. He treated my gel overlay like acrylic smh. Also, the cuticles were not attended to or the natural nail bed. Then the nail tech wanted to argue with me about color. Im telling someone 6 times what I want - knowing that many artists have and can complete the task- is insane. Also expressing that I wanted alternating colors and an artist telling me I can only pick two is also insane. I've been trying to save time by staying in the suburbs for self care but it looks like we're going to have to go to the city. The design was pretty. But the service and nail care was sub par. I also had to get clear on the price which was another task in itself And there are too many salons that offer exactly what you're looking for , with great service and don't skip parts or nail care to rush you out of your service in an hour or 90 minutes. I had an idea, then Vee provides input and executes beautifully. Absolutely love my pink neutral holiday nails. For booking, just do it on their website. When I called ahead, I was told a manicure and pedicure would cost $50, but when it came time to pay, I was charged $60. No explanation was given, and when I questioned it, the response was vague and unhelpful. The front desk receptionist a high school girl--very unprofessional and inattentive. The nail technician who did my nails was not bad in terms of skill, but not friendly or welcoming at all. There was very little communication, and the overall atmosphere just felt weird. I've been to the Arlington Heights location for a regular manicure which lasted a few weeks, I was very pleased!!! Friday I went in for another regular manicure and the polish started chipping, pulling away from my nail that same evening! Today is Monday, I went into the shop to show them what was happening, he said they won't stand behind their work on a regular manicure, nor will they make any price adjustment if I choose for them to do a no-chip manicure. I had scheduled by phone on Sunday to come in at 4pm Monday for a regular mani/pedi. I was in the area and came in around 1:30p. The front desk couldn't find my 4pm appointment but they were able to accommodate right away. This place looks a lot bigger than what appears outside. Plenty of stations and the variety of colors for regular manicures is unbelievable. No other salon in the area carries the amount of variety. The person who took care of me was Sarah and she was fantastic. Cleaned up my cuticles well and didn't rush. Took her time. I'll definitely be back. $55 for a mani/pedi is fairly reasonable for the suburbs. read more

Wanted to try a new salon in the area, looking for my go to since moving from the city. Overall the experience was average at best. I am giving this place a 3 because the lady who did my mani and pedi took her time and did a pretty good job. Even though the salon was brand new, it felt kind of dirty. There were nail pieces everywhere. After I took the slippers off post pedicure, the bottoms were very dirty and I did not walk around very much. When we went to pay, they told us when we made the appointment that there was a new customer discount but they seem to ignore that when I paid and when I mentioned it, he seemed very annoyed. Really disappointed. My apnt was for 4pm, they didn't start until 45min later. I was sitting in a chair with my feet in cold water (it's cold outside). I asked multiple times, can you just put hot water in the tub while I wait. 2 people put hot water in for literally 3 seconds then turned it off. The last lady that did it, I said, "it's still cold, can you drain some of the cold water out?" and she snapped at me and told me my technician would do it when he helps me. Really?? You're not only making me wait 45 min but aren't going to give me hot water? I'm shocked that I was so patient and this is how I got treated. Then they tried to seat me and my disabled cousin across from each other at the salon. I'm going with someone to get my nails done for a reason.. so we can spend time further. THEN they didn't even can file my nails! He lightly filed the sides, but not the top. So some nails are round on top, some are crookedly straight... why do I have to tell the nail tech to file my nails? I didn't say anything because at this point, everything has been a fight. I just wanted to leave & not even deal with these people anymore. Don't come here. My nails look horrible and their customer service sucks. There are so many nail salons to choose from & you need to have something to make your salon stand out from others. What's standing out is your horrible customer service & bad work. Management is a joke I called to make an appointment hours prior to when I showed up they told me you don't need an appointment come around 6:30 I came a few minutes before then. I arrive they tell me we are busy we can't take you but we can in 2 days I am like I called to make one and you told me just to walk in BTW this is just for a soak off of acrylics not a set or anything and it was 6 nails not 10 anyway they took me my lady whole time complain I was supposed to go home I stay late for you making me the Coustomer feel bad when it was poor management and booking on their end I drove 20 min for this ! Felt like everything was rushed. They said they had a full bar but , only had "red and white". Sped through the pedicure, polish is on my skin, feet still rough. The no chip was taken off with a dremel and then peeling off layers of my nails. Again- rush through my manicure. Not a good experience and still at a cost of $85. read more

The salon is super cute and they have a wide variety of colors. The reason I gave four stars is because my nail tech was vaping while doing my nails--super unprofessional. Chrome was an extra $15 charge which seems like a lot to me. There was also a lot of nail polish residue & glitter all over my hands when I was done. I did not get any sort of hand massage either. Do NOT go here! Gave this place three tries because they did a decent job on my nails both with polish and shape so I overlooked how rude and condescending they all are. Third time I went back, I wanted the tips taken off and to get a no chip and told this to the guy when I called for my appt. Arrived, sat down and told the guy who was doing my nails the same thing - take the tips off and then a no chip please. Finally realized as I'm watching him that he is *not* taking the tips off and just sanding them down and started to proceed with the no chip polish. Major communication breakdown. I had it and gave up. Just finish the damn nails at this point. The more I thought about it, I was not ok with this. I made an appointment one week later at LL Lovely Nails, walked into the salon and showed the man at the counter exactly what I wanted done to make sure they understood. No problems. When the technician was taking my tips off guess what??? There was FUNGUS starting to grow between the tips and my actual nails. Thank God I had them taken off. Do NOT use 312 Nails unless you like being treated like dirt while you're there and don't care about the health and cleanliness of your nails. When this place was newer it was a favorite spot of mine. However, it has really gone down hill. My daughter and I treated my MIL for a birthday gift. I was excited to spend some girls time together and booked an appointment for the three of us. Much like other reviewers stated, when we arrived, I didn't feel welcomed at all. The man behind the counter did not put any effort into being friendly. He called a tech to take my MIL first and she was seated on the left side of the room. Next, my 5 year old daughter and I were called. They sat my daughter all the way at the end of the right side at the back of the salon and myself almost to the front. None of us were near each other, even though I made the reservation under my name. I also wasn't too happy with having my daughter so far away, as she's only 5 years old! The services by the technicians were ok enough and our no chip manicures looked pretty. They used to offer a drink, but that wasn't offered. Also my technician did not use the warm towel as has been done in the past. When I went to go pay the bill, the man upfront was not friendly upon leaving. He actually had me put my credit card into the machine and just walked away. I wasn't even sure the transaction was done. It was beyond awkward. We went a few days before Christmas, and our nails looked pretty when we left. However, my daughter's no chip began to peel off the next day and almost every nail was off by Christmas. Even though she is only 5, I paid $35 and would expect a better quality manicure. I will note that she is very careful with her nails and did not pick at them to peel them. Overall, I am very disappointed in the experience. I wouldn't recommend this business, nor will I be back for another service. read more

Just terrible. We went for 3 appointments together to kick off summer (myself and 2 daughters). The place itself is very pretty. However the tech that did one of my daughter's manicures was so rude. She left her there at the station when she was done when everyone else is brought to the drying station. When I went to find her, she had polish all over her skin. So sloppy. This was a full price service, not kid price. Today, just 24 hours later, the polish is peeling off. What a waste of money and time. Will never go back. Find some place else! read more
