I visited a friend here in her studio and from what she told me the rent is really reasonable! It looks like a small warehouse but inside it looks like a house. Many rooms and a kitchen open to all upstairs. The owner lives in the other half of the building. The only downer is parking is tight. I think they only have 3 parking spots and parking on the street is hard because you are around a bunch of other warehouses where giant supply trucks pull in. But if you are an artist keep this place in mind and keep checking for anything that opens up! Only 3 stars because of the location and parking.

The guy who walked me through was very nice. Robin emailed me and must have forgotten that she is who gave me permission to come by. I have rented at Regus offices for over ten years and have offices in DC, Georgia and Denver. She actually asked me to come in and meet some people after I had already toured the facility and went online to make application. She was very interested, and then I was very sick with a high fever and couldn't go right away. She sent me an email and said after further review, I wasn't a "fit." I truly believe there is some discrimination, but I am not sure what it was whether she just changed her mind for no reason or made an otherwise unfair decision. I can't think of any reason they wouldn't want to rent and no excuse was given. Very disappointed in the unprofessionalism.

Another free gallery in the Santa Fe Arts District. They had a couple different artists on when I…read morevisited. Some very intriguing, modern, realistic art. Unlike some of the other galleries in this area, this is set up like a traditional gallery--paintings spaced out and well presented. Easy to view everything. Not set up like some type of variety or art shop. As I've said in other similar reviews, near a few other galleries in this fading arts district, so you can visit a few different types of art. No real restaurants nearby. But worth a stop.

Bitfactory Gallery fronts the Bitfactory Studios complex which contains 15 art studios on two…read morelevels plus an additional rental exhibition space (the Garage) in the rear. The gallery is owned and managed by Bill Thomason. He curates cutting edge work from local, national, and international creators. Bill consistently puts together challenging group shows and finds remarkable exhibits from individual contributors. The gallery consists of a front and back room offering a good amount of exhibition space. Bill does a good job of hanging and displaying the work so that it's easy to evaluate. The art studio building is accessible from a side door of the gallery. Many of the studio artists open their spaces for visits from the public on First Fridays. This is definitely one of the most consistently interesting galleries on Santa Fe Drive. You should certainly check it out during any visit to the Art District.

This was the go to shop in Fort Collins for years. Sadly Marcy ( who is just a gifted framer & a…read morenice person) is gone & this shop has changed owners. I brought an original piece of western art in for reframing, mainly because Marcy helped frame another painting years ago & did an exceptional job. BIG mistake! First, the owner handled my art without wearing protective gloves and second, many of the moldings that were chosen were out of stock so a huge waste of time. She also took personal cell phone calls while I just stood there, as if my time and business were not the priority. I felt incredibly disrespected during the entire process and should have bailed right away, but again, I think I was still not fully aware that this shop had taken such a dive. Then there was the price. All framing is pricey, but this was outrageous. She quoted me $1400.00 . I decided to just do it as I had a time constraint , but later found the original frame & decided to tweak that. She was very rude about that even though it was the same day. It took over 3 weeks to complete a VERY simple job. Yeah, won't be back! So disappointing . A total waste of time, emotions and money.

My 5 star rating comes from a recent experience we had in the store. My family member recalled out of the blue that they had once dropped off a piece of art and had it spec'd here roughly ten years ago but had forgotten to follow up. Most of us feared that the piece had most likely been forgotten or otherwise lost in some way. Without a receipt or paper record, there would be little chance of finding the painting... or so we thought. Upon arriving at Old Town Art & Framery after ten years, my relative was greeted by Marcy, who not only remembered his full name, but also the artist of the painting and where it was stored! 10 minutes later we had the painting in hand and fresh plans to continue the framing efforts!
