They have some fantastic things that aren't just books as well as the usual book store stuff. Like heaps of little packs on everything from making sushi to pilates to learning to play harmonica. They also had some great packs for kids learning to read with a book and cd of popular characters like Toy Story. I found a great Transformers boxed set for under $30 that looked amazingly special. I also found some of the coolest games here. Like one where the right answer is the wrong answer. And one with kids vs adults. And a special Top Gear item for my partner. There was seriously something here for everyone and anyone. Definitely not just your usual book shop anymore.

If they are old enough to understand "look but don't touch" then there is definitely heaps for them to look at. I got some really great deals here on a leapster electronic game console as well as games for it as cheap as $10 for some titles. Recently I went here because I was looking for a Harry Potter outfit for my child for the book week parade. I had already visited the department stores and cheap shops and not found anything, even anything I could work with. Found an actual Harry Potter costume here and not too expensive (plus it was what he really wanted). A good place to look when you want to get something different to the ranges they stock in your usual toy departments. They also have a great range of wooden toys and trains. Always able to find a gift for a child in this store even if you have no clue what you are looking for when you walk in.
