Mr. Sweets has literally hundreds of different types of candies, chocolates, etc. Most notably, and a must try, is the Black Death Mega Sour, which I still remember even though it has been a while since I have been back to this shop. I love sours, but I can truly state that I have never had a sour like this one. I was told by the shop owner that it is exclusive to Mr. Sweets. Although it is a chain, this particular shop did not have that feel. Everyone in this shop was extremely personable, friendly and passionate about their product. The store is also very well maintained and I felt like I stepped back in time to well, an olde sweet shoppe. Would highly recommend.

Inquired about an item i had seen on their website which was unfortunately out of stock at that time but could not have received better attention from the staff who informed me of when it was due to come in and how they could keep me back some when it did .I have been in several times since and commend them all for their attention to customer detail and service .All my comments to my friends have resulted in them now visiting the shop . Admittedly they are quite expensive but the quality speaks for itself and these goods do not come from America by carrier pigeon they are imported goods which of course have fees payable.I never look at the cost as if I really want something well I will pay for it.

While we were down at duff house examining the beautiful architecture we came across a little ice cream shop called "the candy box" as you go inside you smell a putrid fish scent, might have been the day but me, my wife and kids were gagging from the smell. Me and my wife ordered a mint chocolate chip ice cream but the kids wanted a waffle with vanilla ice cream. We had a young women at the till and she was very rude and unkind but we tried our best to be respectful. When we get our ice cream the young women says "that will be £17 please" I was shocked at the price since we only got one scoop on each cone. We exited the shop with our goody's and sat on a near by bench, we were enjoying our ice cream until my son tells me that he sees something green on his food. I discovered that it was actually mold on it, I was disgusted (as you would expect) and decided to go back to the shop and complain, the worker shouted right in my face and told me to never come back here. Very disrespectful and disgraceful, that's why I will give the candy box a 1 star
