He came out at the expected time, gave a fair quote and since we were planning on doing it eventually anyway, I trusted him and his crew at MiCo Development Group to install a 2nd gate on the other side of the fence. The quote for the project was fair and delivered quickly through email via a customer portal. Payment for the deposit was simple and easy to do and everything was honest and straightforward. We scheduled a time for the work to be done a few weeks after the quote and Colton was communicative about the best days, letting us know that they had to adjust slightly for the Thanksgiving holiday, but was also clear in checking in ahead the day before to make sure the date worked out. When the work was done, they showed up on time and went over the agreed upon specs ahead of time. Colton and Mike paid attention to every detail I mentioned (such as a specific gate latch that I wanted) before starting. And in the middle of the job, when they accidentally hit a sprinkler line, they were honest about it and ensured that it was fixed properly before calling the job complete. The repairs were done in about half a day and now I have the piece of mind of (two!) working gates. Professional, friendly, prompt and fairly priced, as well as amazing customer service makes MiCo Development stand out above any other company here on Yelp. I have to call and text multiple times to get a response from anyone and then the response is we'll get in touch with the manufacturer and will let you know what they say tomorrow......of course, they have never called back. I'm still waiting.....have paid over $3,000 in June and still sitting with no fence and no ETA nearly 5 months after paying the deposit.......completely pathetic. I would not re-hire this company nor recommend them.

Installers and the foreman (who wasn't very friendly or accommodating) came on time and on the date as promised and did pretty decent job overall, with exception of one small, but concerning issue which I'm going to get into next. After the install, one of the vynil gates had a large gap between the edge of the door and the post, taking away much of privacy. When I asked the foreman to fix it, he didn't do anything, mentioning something about vynil needing to have room to expand in hot temps. Expand 1.5", really? Why did my other gate only had ~ 3/4" gap and this one 1.5" - wouldn't the other one also need to expand? Felt like a poor excuse not to fix the gap. Also, the whole experience was very rough with this foreman. I had to convince him throughout the project several times about how I wanted to get the fence installed. He was constantly complaining about obstacles with soil elevation, level changes, proximity of fence to the house, and how they may not be able to do what I'm asking, even though my requests were very simple and common. What was the MOST disappointing though, when I contacted the company by phone about fixing the gap, the lady answering the phone refused to connect me to the owner, Alan. Then, got back to me telling that they won't do anything about my issue. When I emailed the owner, Alan, he didn't respond for weeks. Then, said that he won't do anything to help me. I sent him photos and pleaded to come and take a look and send someone to address. He said he will come by and then disappeared off the grid. I emailed him over the course of a few months, really wanted to give him a chance to resolve this, but he ignored my subsequent emails and I gave up and wrote this review. So much for promises of "lifetime warranty" and all the other nice buzz words on their website. DON'T fall for it! Some people visiting my home asked me to give a referral to company that installed my fence, which I have all turned down and said that I would not recommend them due to poor customer service. Unfortunately, we spent our money elsewhere and found ourselves making due with a pretty beaten down fence since we moved in. But after about the 15th time where some boards just fell down, we decided that it was finally time. I walk my dog a lot through the nearby neighborhoods and every time I see a super nice fence that really stands out, it's always a Redman Fence. And I've had Redman bookmarked on Yelp for years because of the great ratings. So maybe this wasn't the smartest decision, but we had Redman come out to give us a quote and the next day and quickly opted to put down a deposit without getting a quote elsewhere. When I've mentioned to people how much our fence cost, the reaction is usually that we paid a bit more. That may be so, but I think it was worth it for three reasons: 1) The quality of the product is top notch. 2) Reliability of the installers - they actually showed up when they said they would every day, which is a rarity in this industry, sadly. 3) They offered financing for a low fee. I'll nitpick here and mention a few things I didn't love, just to give the full spectrum of our experience: 1) We were told by the owner that it would only be one day that our fence would be down before the new one would be up enough to keep pets in. That ended up not being true at all - the project started on a Monday and by the end of the day on Thursday, the perimeter with the other houses was secure enough for pets, but our gate was the last thing to be put up, which did not happen until the following Monday. Now that I've seen a fence install from start to finish, the owner quoting us "one day" was very unrealistic. 2) The guys cleaned up a bit, but also definitely let some trash scattered around. They also left some yard debris and it would have been nice for them to either take it or at least offer to put everything in our yard trash can that was sitting empty in the backyard. That's really about it, though. Overall, the product turned out great. The installers were here every day but Sunday and they'd work from around 10:30a-5:30p, seemingly without a break. It was about one month from the time we put down a deposit until the install began. The quality of their work is top notch and I'm really happy that I will not even have to think about my fence for the rest of the time we live in this house.

The fence was installed backwards to what I had agreed and paid for. They also put it 12-18 inches inside my property instead of on my property line like they were supposed to. The barn door i requested in the back was supposed to be diagonal and they didn't do that, matter of fact, the neighbor's behind me got the nice barn door (if you can call it that). On top of it all they took my nearly new Kobalt heavy duty post hole digger, near $100 and used it on this job without asking, then stole it AMD when I insisted it be returned, they finally returned it all broken and unusable.
