Bike lanes and pedestrian lanes galore!
This bridge crosses…read morethe Danube in Vienna, and drops you off right next to Mexico Square by the St Francis of Assisi Church. The elevated roadway is separated from the pedestrian routes, so it's easy, safe, and somewhat well lit to get to and cross the river. Along the pedestrian walkways, you'll find a bunch of street art and graffiti, which seems to be condoned along this bridge. The art was unique and prolific. Some of the parts were needlessly blocked off by cones or construction markers, when there was no work going on.
Overall, the accessibility to this bridge was great! Handicapped accessible, scooter accessible ramps, clearly marked lanes, and lighting made transiting around this bridge fun and easy. At the bottom of the bridge was the dock that my ship was docked at, so I came to this bridge a bunch.
If you crave a view of this bridge, there's a bar at the base called The View.
