I'm very glad I chose this location to get recertification for BLS…read more All staff were chill and patient (I screwed up and enrolled in the wrong course ). They made sure I was enrolled at the earliest possibility. The equipment, classroom was clean and fresh. They even had snacks! Snacks The fees are fair. Most of all, the vibe is clear from owner, admin staff and instructors - they want you to succeed and will do everything they can to make that happen. In a time when service seems to be a memory - you will be pleased.

This one will most likely be short lol. When I say that, I always jinx myself. Todays a new day…read moretho?! Last Summer, I got certified to teach Pound Fitness. Basically it's a cardio jam session, 45 min workout, all choreographed to 12 tracks and we use these things called Ripstix to bang around on the floor, together, etc. It adds that EXTRA to the workout! They are bright green sticks that are a little heavier than drumsticks. The class is a blast. I started doing it a couple years ago to get a core workout because I hate doing core in my regular workouts lol. Pound works everything tho. Legs, back, arms, etc. It's definitely worth trying if you've never done it. First time you'll be like ... W . T . F! That's exactly what I did and I didn't take it for the longest time because I thought it looked soooo stupid lol. I tried it once and was immediately hooked. Fast forward to last June, I get certified to become a Pound Pro, so that way if I wanted to, I could teach it. This past December I was hired at my gym as a sub. I wanted my own class, but I'm totally fine with a sub position haha! Until I get more classes under my belt that I've taught, yeah, the sub position is 100% fine with me. Last month, I taught my first class, but before I could teach, I had to get CPR certified. Originally I was told to go through the Red Cross. They had ONNNNE class available and that was it! She tried to find me a class in Nevada or Oregon and I'm like...umm, I'm not driving to another state lol. Thankfully I found Idaho CPR Plus. They had more than 1 class, lol, and I was able to get in almost immediately. Cost me only $45 and it was a 2hr class. I went, got certified and Chris, the instructor, was the best. He explained everything perfectly, super patient with everyone, just a great guy. So if you need to get certified, seriously, just go through these guys. If you go through Red Cross, their classes fill up super fast and then a you have to wait for god knows how long for (ONE) another class to come about OR you can try to find a class elsewhere in the PNW, Lol. So I got my certification and was cleared to teach. I spare the details on that part seeing as it doesn't really pertain to this...kinda like the huge opening part of this review haha! Told you, I always jinx myself. Check this place out! It's great, no stress, Chris was great so I'm assuming the others are just as great. Thanks for reading, Yelpingerers! Keep breathing. Cheers!
