First off, I absolutely love this space! It's such a beautiful and versatile place for an artist like me to host a unique experience or exhibition. The owner, Chris, is incredibly kind, creative, and collaborative, with a great eye for detail and ideas.
I recently held my first curated art exhibition and listening experience, Behind the Muse: The 5G Experience, at 20/20 Collective, and Chris truly went above and beyond to make sure everything came together exactly as I envisioned it.
Even before the event, he allowed me access to the space so I could prepare everything properly rather than trying to do it all on event day. I was able to come in early to hang and arrange my artwork, test the sound, prepare and test my visual content on the screens, and make sure everything was working the way I envisioned. He also provided a private room that I could use as a dressing/green room and allowed my decorator to come in a day early to complete her setup. Having that kind of access and flexibility made such a difference.
Chris was equally accommodating with my caterer, allowing them to come in, bring everything they needed, and set up their beautiful food presentation in the space. There's a kitchen/prep area with a refrigerator, which made having professionally catered food very convenient. There was water available, the bathrooms were clean and well maintained, and there's even an espresso machine. Chris made me a cup of coffee during one of my visits and it was REALLY good! On the day of my event, he also provided vegan sparkling wine for my guests, which was such a thoughtful touch.
Another thing I love about 20/20 Collective is how versatile it is. There are two levels and several different rooms and areas that can be transformed depending on your vision. Chris designed and decorated the space himself, and you can tell that a lot of thought went into it. As a multidisciplinary artist and filmmaker, I immediately started seeing possibilities beyond this one event--exhibitions, screenings, photo and video shoots, intimate performances, conversations, and so much more.
What stood out most to me was that Chris didn't simply rent me a venue; he collaborated with me. He listened to what I was trying to create, welcomed the other professionals I brought in, and helped make sure everyone had what they needed to bring the entire experience together. It genuinely felt like a collaborative effort.
I'm extremely proud of what we created together and grateful that I chose 20/20 Collective as the home for my first curated art experience. I absolutely plan to work with Chris and the space again. Highly recommend! read more
