We tried to sell our house with them and it was a terrible experience. They don't like doing the…read moreviewings, but if you insist they send someone who's never seen the property and wasn't very helpful. We only did this once, as our property was never going to sell this way. Then they have turned down two offers on our behalf without asking us and failed to notify us in writing of those same offers, breaching their own contract. Then if you point this out to them, they refuse to deal with you over the phone and only contact you by email which I thought was very childish. First we accepted an offer from a couple I didn't even know the names of, who it turned out were in no position to proceed. We then sold again and the buyers pulled out, which is not their fault, however they didn't give us the real reason the buyer pulled out. I had to find that out myself, yet I thought they weren't allowed to lie! As we thought their service was so terrible, we did give notice to terminate our contract and asked if they would let us leave two weeks early due to them already breaching their own contract 4 times. They declined and then we had another offer so we stayed rather than cut our noses off to spite our faces etc... It also took them over 12 weeks to arrange for the EPC surveyor to come out, and I suspect he was only asked to because we'd sold for the second time, and I had complained on several occasions. Now, despite our contract being officially over, they have not removed our property from the market as requested, nor will they return our calls. The girls in the office have taken messages but are unable to do anything more apparently. It's ridiculous! The whole experience has been far more stressful than it needed to be, and I would recommend anyone thinks very carefully before using them! There are many agents out there who are so much better!!
