I have put off writing anything for seven months, but knowing how unhappy my daughter, the bride,…read morestill is has me out here writing. Especially reading some of the other reviews that are so similar to our experience, which was not great. We were so rushed that I didn't even get to be back with my daughter while she got into her gown.... So no mother daughter pictures of her getting dressed..... the photographer did not even get a photo of her in her gown from a back view which was requested..... other photos had also been requested and they weren't completed..... there are no photos of the groom with the brides family. I thought I could take a break from taking photos for once but now I regret it as things I saw that he was capturing didn't actually get produced. Like the cake, decorations, people in the crowd, etc.. He was super friendly and fun and we had a great time with him and he took some candid shots of me and my family but not the professional ones we asked for. I told the planner that the brides family should be on the left side for ceremony but she said we were to be on the right side so we did not get to see my daughter's face during the ceremony. And the grooms family did not get to face him. When speaking to the planner while we were setting up for the wedding, we talked about emails because she was confused on times and that there were discrepancies of times, etc. but she denied anything on her part. Even though we have the emails. I realize we booked two hours and my daughter only had 15 minutes to get in her gown before the ceremony would start and that is when other family members went out to set up special things we wanted on the tables, but there should still be more time given to get things set up and for the bride not to be rushed on her big day. There should be at least a 30 minute getting dressed and set up before the booking of the two hours. We chose the pizza buffet and it was good. The flowers were not very close to what my daughter sent for a photo. I think there needs to be more time to be able to talk to the photographer & florist before the day of the wedding which was not allowed for us. My daughter is very good with writing and wrote a very nice email to the planner which was rather disregarded and her review was taken down, even though it was honest. If you do book with this place, I would encourage that you take the time and go over all the details as you have the right with the money that is spent. We had the two hour package and we paid a little over $7000. We did ask as it got closer to the wedding to go over things, but kept getting told everything was taken care of. It was almost like they show you the packages, you book it, send the money, they get the money and that's about all they care about.

I got married at Vows on 10/17, and I truly can't put into words how disappointed and heartbroken I…read moream with how my wedding day turned out. What should have been one of the most special and memorable days of my life became an unorganized, stressful disaster that still brings me to tears when I think about it. Anyone who knows me knows I'm a very type A, detail oriented person. I planned everything carefully, down to the smallest detail, and gave Linda (the owner/coordinator) clear instructions, timelines, and my playlists in advance. She ignored every bit of it. On my wedding day, she had no idea what was going on, constantly blamed me for things she didn't do, and made me feel like I was the problem when I had done everything I possibly could to make her job easier. Even the music I had sent multiple times wasn't ready. Every single little thing was treated as a "special request" with an extra fee. She tried charging us $700 just to set up a few tables outside for cocktail hour because it was a last minute request. On top of that, she charged $1,000 per hour for an "open bar" and still made us bring our own liquor. It felt like everything was about money, not about making our day special. She was SO rude, condescending, dismissive, and visibly stressed yelling at my bridal party, grabbing my groomsmen inappropriately by his vest jacket, and snapping at my family and friends. What hurt the most was how she came across very uncultured. As a Latina bride, there were moments when her attitude and tone gave off racially insensitive energy. It made me, and even some of my guests, feel so uncomfortable. And then to top it all off... her phone went off during my ceremony. After yelling at my bridal party to turn their phones off. Right in the middle of my vows. One of the most intimate, emotional moments of my life. I can't even describe how heartbreaking that was. That moment was supposed to be sacred, and she ruined it. She forgot my cake topper, my bouquet looked nothing like what I asked for, and she completely disrespected the vision I worked so hard to create. Even my photographer was so shocked by how unprofessional she was. I tried to stay calm and kind because I didn't want to risk her canceling anything or adding more "charges," but it took everything in me not to break down that day. By the end of the night, she admitted she was very stressed but still blamed me instead of taking responsibility. I left my own wedding feeling stressed, disappointed, and heartbroken. The only reason my wedding vision came to life was because I poured my heart and soul into every single detail. The venue itself has potential, but Linda completely failed to deliver on what she promised. I would NEVER recommend her to any bride who wants to feel respected, supported, and cared for on her wedding day. No bride deserves to feel the way I did on what should have been the happiest day of her life. I will say her staff was incredible. Laura and Jenna specifically were amazing! I would like to add that Linda had Google take down all of my guests genuine reviews about their poor experience at her venue! Unbelievable.

Knotty Pine Venue possesses the perfect mixture of country, all while offering you a private and modern accommodations! The venue was beautiful and set up…read moreperfectly with lots of space for the head table, guests, DJ, food, dance, cake table, snack table, gift table, and bar. There were spacious lounge rooms for groom groomsmen and bride and bridal parties with lots of mirrors and private bathrooms!! Perfect for everyone to get ready in all at once and leave all there stuff safely throughout the day. I did not stop hearing comments from the guests all day about how cute the bathrooms were. There was full changing tables, very family friendly. The lighting was the best I have seen at a venue. There was tons of natural light, the photographer thanks you! When it got dark the lights were beautiful but also actually lit the place up so we weren't sitting in a cave! It was beautiful inside and out, lots of places outside to do pictures. The parking lot is massive and there is easy pull up drop off access for limo or grandparent drop offs. The kitchen is spotless and practical with its own entrance. The owner Dorisa, her husband, and all of the staff were impeccable. I did not meet them until the big day during our first crisis (non existent keg) and they went above and beyond to help. The owners and staff were always present, never difficult to find, and ready to do whatever it took to make the day go off without a hitch. Throughout the whole day I was constantly seeing Dorisa, her husband, and all the staff go above and beyond expectations helping where it was needed, not just required. Overall I was incredibly impressed. It felt like we were being hosted by a family in their gigantic beautiful venue home than renting a space from a business. I don't think it can get much better than that! I strongly recommend this venue to anyone and everyone! Thank you!!!
