The staff was very accommodating even with my unruly 3 year old not wanting to cooperate. We sat outside on the balcony overlooking a beautiful garden and pool (presumably part of the Alvya Hotel which the restaurant is part of). After dinner, we were greeted by the owner and the chef and he thanked us for visiting. I thanked him for a great dinner and he was even nice enough to take my son on a quick tour of the kitchen ;) when we return to Izmir again, we will definitely go back. Teşekküller Mitu staff. ;)

The one thing that Surf Garden Cafe has going for them is that there is an amazing view of the…read morebeach and windsurfers from all the tables. As a frequent windsurfer at this beach Surf Garden Cafe is a frequent stop for lunch in between windsurfing sessions. None of the dishes here are knock your socks off amazing but they aren't bad either. For me this restaurant is too expensive for for the food you are getting which is why I'm giving it four stars.
