For…read moreyears while I was decorating my daughter's room and my house, I always frequented Enchanting Objects for that one unique piece of furniture or special antique for an empty space that needed something pretty. It's been a few years since I have been here. Being sick on dialysis, shopping just didn't interest me since I was so tired all the time. I finally made my way in today and I'm so happy I did. I always have such a fun time looking at everything. Walking in, the store front looks just as charming and magical as ever. I came in looking for a lamp and anything else that spoke to me. I wasn't looking for anything specific. That's the best way to shop. I love walking around and checking out all the vendors, I was in awww with a few of thier pieces. The big good stunning gold mirrors, beautiful chandeliers, how everything is delicately displayed. I found myself some mini creamer pitchers. I love collecting these little beasties and decorating them with flowers. I also did find a beautiful pink lamp but I have to dicuss the price with he husband before I go swoop it up. It is hard not to want everything here. It's all so pretty. I need to come back more often. I'm redecorating my house and would love to pick up some pieces here for it. There is a beautiful bed frame that I would love but unfortunately it's only for a full bed. I plan on coming back for that pink lamp and anything that stands out to me.

Of course items will be marked up relative to what you think they're worth - they have to make money somehow? Also, to be expected to be greeted at the door like some royalty, quite the privileged shopper you are! Anyways, about the shop - it is like a treasure cove of everything you can think of. From antiques to sports to toys to things you can't even think of, they have it all. My wife and I come from the medical field and we were blown away by some of the antique medical equipment and novelties they had. Meanwhile I always collect baseball and trading cards and was pleasantly surprised to hear about their weekly inventory of new sports cards. We were in the store for nearly 2 hours, and wish we could have stayed for the entire afternoon. When we return to Boise one day, we will be stopping by again. We were grateful for the wonderful staff and friendly women at the front register. This is a 5/5 business if I've ever seen one. Ignore the previous reviews, this is a MUST-See shop.

I actually had lunch at a restaurant in the same building a few weeks back. I didn't have time to check it out but I was in Nampa today so I made my way in. Walked into the store and wasn't greeted. I guess talking about not having enough money to pay for your taxes was more important than greeting or acknowledging me. But every other person that came in after me was greeted. I found it to be amusing and annoying at the same time. I did read in a previous review that they were racist here. I don't care if you don't like me cause of my race, just be kind cause I'm a customer in your store. I made my way through the store checking out all the different vendors. As much as I wanted to buy so many stunning pieces, the price point that these folks have given these collectables is out of this world. I can't believe some of the prices on teacups, dolls, vases and pictures. I can see why these rooms are crammed with stuff, no one is buying them. Even with a 20% off sign, it's still not tempting enough to buy anything. I did check out the clearance stuff and it was still ridiculously priced. I don't know why it's called a clearance section when it was all still expensive. I did find a very pretty teapot that wasn't overly priced. I wanted to snag a couple other things but I just couldn't persuade myself enough to spend that kind of money on a teacup or a pink depression glass wine glass. So, I bought my teapot and was content with my purchase. This store and the vendors are really neat. But, the prices here are just obscene and out of this world. It was fun spending part of my afternoon here checking things out but I think I'll stay in my neck of the woods for my vintage goods.

Depending on who the vendor is, you'll find tea cups, dolls, furniture, sports memorabilia, etc. This shop is very bright and vibrant which is nice. It's great to have good lighting in the venue for people to check things out. I ended up not finding what I was looking for but I probably could have bought every tea cup in this joint. I love tea cups. This shop was fun to walk around and check out. I look forward to coming back and seeing if I can find any treasures next time.

The woman said that the building was made out of old scrap pieces from built down homes in town in the 70,s. She told us the house right next to it was built in 1913. This building has a lot of history with a lot of different things for anyone. It is a cute little local shop and worth a visit. The new owners are super nice and she always wanted to open a coffee shop.

I know this strip mall well when I used to have colleagues that worked at the JBX Grill back in the…read moreearly 2000s but I didn't know about the 208 until a random social media post that advertised that they had a lot of Funko Pops. Yes. I have too many of them but I was in search of a particular one - Rogue One K-2SO Fall Convention from 2017. I was planning on getting on from eBay so that Alan Tudyk would autograph it when it comes to the Gem State Comic Con. Back to the 208. There were a couple of guys up front, it looks like there's vendor per carved out space offering all sorts of things ranging from silverware to those souvenir bells. The Funko Pops are the back and I have to give them credit - They are stocked and displayed per theme in an organized manner. Many of the carved out booth spaces were unattended so it was a little strange to walk into the space with no one around. We turned right at the back of the store and ended up near the computer section. I haven't seen a collection of Netbooks since those early 2000s. Command prompts, C drives, MS-DOS speak was happening in the background and all that was missing was the Leisure Suit Larry and Scuzzy Drive references. In the end, its a trip down memory lane, one person's trash is another's treasure and there's some interesting pieces here. Going back to the Funko Pop, they didn't have it. No worries, Alan Tudyk cancelled so. No harm no foul.

I ran into out by chance when I was making my way to the Youth Ranch. It was my sign to go in! The set up is very similar to the antique shops off State and the other end of Overland. Lots of different vendors with different goodies and shop set ups. It's cool that you get to go to all these little store fronts in one location. The venue is big and bright which is nice! It's nice to have such bright lighting when you're looking at items with such detail and color. It's just nice to be in a bright venue in general. I guess you can't completely say it's all antiques here. There's collectables, thrift finds and jewelry. I didn't check out some of the vendors since there were a few selling trains, sports memorabilia, Funko Pops and other things that didn't really peek my interest but is cool that it's there for you as an option. It's an everything, one stop shop location for everyone's special interests! There were still a couple vendors putting their little shops together. Some were jammed pack full of things, some had a nice amount to look at and some were pretty scarce. But if you're a looker, you might find a fun treasure there! I was on a time crunch and checked out as much as I could. There was a lot to go through. I'm looking forward to this joint to be completed with all it's vendors and products. A portion of the venue was still empty and being worked on. The prices vary depending on the vendor. Some were reasonable and some were high, to be expected. Looking forward to coming back and seeing what new things they have. Some forget to bring a sipper! Sipping on your drink while looking for treasures is the best way to spend your afternoon and I can't wait to do it soon.

I didn't find the specific item and just never thought about checking it out again. I'm happy I came in today! As soon as I walked in I was in love. Everything is perfectly and delicately set up. Each plate, each frame, each linen that was set up was thought out and strategically placed. I made sure I looked at everything, I didn't want to miss a thing. It was hard not to touch everything to be able to look at the delicate details of the item. The gold lining on a plate, the carving of a frame or a picture that's in the antique frame. It's all stunning. The gal that helped me today was sweet. I felt so welcome. I did my thing, walked around and checked everything out. I grabbed a few things. The cutest white hanging basket, a floral pitcher, an ornate plate and a floral saucer. I appreciate that I didn't feel like I was being price gauged cause it was an antique. I paid for my treasures and was happy! It's amazing how many people overcharge for this cause they add the word antique to it. This store front is so pretty! It's set up is beautiful. The gal running the store was pleasant and kind. The pieces here are all beautiful and unique. I can't wait to come back soon and find more gorgeous treasures.

I don't care what any straight guy says, they may talk shit if the wife or gf wants to go, but they'll go 'out of love' lol and end up looking around vs the pouting and talking shit they were doing leading up to going in lol.
