Ben and Patrick arrived at the appointed time, ready to work. Both were friendly, totally professional and made every effort to pack in the stuff to keep costs down. The entire load was on the truck in less than an hour, and the final cost matched the upfront estimate. They also offer two unique advantages: 1) a commitment to recycle and reuse, and 2) hazardous waste pickup and proper disposal. It really feels good to do business with local company doing such a standout job. I'd use them again without hesitation.

Good work, poor quote…read more I had a shed and platform that needed removing on the morning that a new shed was to arrive. They made a bid based not only on that specification, but also photos I sent showing both the shed and the platform. When the crew arrived, they said (a) they did not know the platform was part of the project and (b) it would cost more to do the job. Since I was stuck, needing to have the old shed gone so the new shed could go in its place, I had no options but to pay more than the bid. The shed and platform were removed, no complaints about the actual work. But had the office manager, Philip, done his job properly, I could have saved a couple of hundred bucks by keeping the platform and staging the new shed atop it. I worry. In the moving business, some local/regional movers play a game where they bid low, then on moving day demand more money saying the job was bigger than expected. This is a well known scam since the person moving cannot stay in their old rental. I hope this is not what Junk Recyclers is doing. So, if you have a small junk hauling gig, they are probably fine. Anything bigger, you might insist on a site visit and firm quote.

I used Griffin to rent a porta-john long term for a campsite that has no plumbing/ septic access…read more We used their service for a year and are resuming services with them this week. We had switched to another company for around six months- not because of anything to do with service or price from Griffin- we had switched because another local company had a specific portajohn that we liked the color scheme of. It's only after ending 6 months of service with Griffin's competition that I can fully appreciate how FANTASTIC Griffin is! The other company we were using would show up at random, sometimes even skipping cleans altogether. The other company's drivers were not conscientious and repeatedly drove over my landscaped flower beds. The person servicing our portajohn from the over company would spend all of 2 seconds "cleaning" the portajohn and half the time he wouldn't replace the toilet paper. The other company couldn't get their billing straight and sent incorrect invoices over and over again. The final straw was when the portajohn cleaning was missed for the second week in a row-we had a dirty portajohn completely out of toilet paper. I actually had to send a photo of the service record to get the rude secretary to believe me. Instead of writing that company a scathing 1 star review (I'm being VERY nice and not even mentioning their name), I thought I'd go ahead and write Griffin a glowing 5 star review. I'm sorry for having taken them for granted in the past. 1.) The Driver/serviceman for Griffin arrived every time like clockwork and was very friendly. 2.) Griffin always did an excellent job at cleaning sanitizing the portajohn and provides sanitizer that was always replenished each visit which the other company did not. 3.) We never had a weekly cleaning missed- you can count on Griffin. 4.) Invoicing was always correct and we linked up with auto pay for a seamless experience 5.) Toilet paper was always re-stocked Thanks guys! Looking forward to working with you again!
